the cool sensation his his throat and he puckered his face a little bit. sure, he only drank his coffee black, but it still took him a while to get used to it once he started a cup. plus, for some odd reason, iced coffee was just more difficult to drink. in aj's eyes, coffee was meant to be reserved for the morning on a cold day. when your coffee got cold, it was discarded or heated back up. iced coffee broke all of the rules, but in the miami sun, it was just as popular as a tropical alcoholic beverage. he slurped another gulp from the straw and began dawdling with his phone. he flipped through the twitter feed, reading all of the things his friends have said since he drove to grab some coffee.

cadence rubbed her eyes, then took a look at the mirror. saying she looked like shit was an understatement. she had worked till three and instead of going home and sleeping like a good girl, she went with her friends to this party. cady couldn't say she regretted going since she got some cute guy's number but she did regret not leaving any time for a nap. she might have been full of energy most of the time but only because she ran on twelve hours of sleep. the good thing about her job was that she worked late so she could wake up as late as she wanted. so why didn't she do that? well she had barely gotten home and if she even thought about dozing up, she would just pass out for hours and miss a day of work. which meant no money for shopping clothes. yes, those were the only dilemmas in the life of cady hart. anyways, she rubbed her eyes once more. they were burning and getting to her. she got up from the couch where she had been trying to stay awake for two hours and went to the kitchen. she looked for some coffee making stuff but found nothing.
at least she was sure she found nothing, she wasn't really good at making coffee. usually one of her friends made it and she mooched it off them. since they weren't awake, they actually asked for the day off, she was left with no help. which only meant one thing, a trip to the local coffee shop. she was way too tired to drive and would probably fall asleep at the wheel or get lost, so she decided just to walk. it was only five minutes away from her apartment anyways. she put on some shoes and grabbed her purse before walking out the door. while many people couldn't deal with the miami heat, cady was used to it and basked in the warm sun. there weren't many people which meant no waiting in line. she asked for a black coffee and a dr. pepper to go. as soon as she got it, she began to make her way back home when she saw someone familiar by the window. "well well well, look who we have here. " she said, sitting down in the chair opposite him.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] there were people running in and out of the coffee shop at random. he always looked up and glanced at each and every person, just to make sure they weren't looking at the loser in the corner who was drinking his coffee by himself. it was rare that andrew wasn't surrounded by people, but this time was desperately needed to meditate before he went to work. his eyes flickered as another person walked in. he didn't catch much detail because he wasn't too concerned over who the people were, but a familiar head of dark hair caught his eye. not wanting to stare or seem too awkward, he looked back down at his phone, continuing to scroll though websites.
at the sound of a familiar voice, aj's head perked up, much like a puppy's. his eyes deviated from his phone to the source of the voice in front of him. he gave a wide grin as soon as he noticed exactly who it was. "well if it isn't miss cady hart!" he exclaimed, excited to see his pal. his grin grew larger as she sat down next to him. the petite girl was holding two different drinks in her hands. it must have been a late night for her. he knew what she did to make money and he didn't care. so what if one of his closest friends was a stripper? it didn't mean she wasn't awesome to hang around with. "what brings you here?" he asked, simply, initiating the conversation.
he expected her to be sleeping or something, not out and about like she was now. the poor girl looked tired. he desperately hoped that he caffeine would help her. he hated seeing her in this state. in fact, he hated seeing anyone looking worn down at all. aj was glad she was sitting down and talking to him, but secretly he just wanted to shove her in her car and make her take a nap. he laughed a little bit at his own imagination and began to talk again. "i, for one, needed a little boost before i take care of some angry customers for less than minimum wage." he sighed. sure, he made tips, but it seemed that if he did the slightest thing wrong, he would get completely jipped. he never complained though. that was andrew's style.

[/style] the coffee place wasn't a place where you would usually find cady. at least not alone. she hated being alone because it was just so boring. hell, she had been bored at home and that was because all her friends were there. they were passed out but at least they were there. she actually couldn't wait to get to work now, it was one of the only jobs she had that she actually had fun in. she was confident enough to not get embarrassed by everyone watching her and actually enjoyed the attention. obviously, she was kind of an attention whore. so to be in a place where she knew no one and couldn't talk to anyone was just no the kind of place she wanted to be. she was sure she would have rushed out if she hadn't seen aj. luckily, she had been trying not to spill her coffee so she hadn't walked that fast. she wasn't sure if he had noticed her but she made sure that he did. when he looked up, a smile made its way on to her face. "the one and only " cady said, before taking a sip of her coffee. it was hot and burned her throat but that just helped her stay awake till the actual caffeine kicked in. she put the dr. pepper down but kept the coffee in hand, she wanted to finish it as fast as possible so it would hurry up and take effect.
"needed a pick me up. i have work in like two hours and i haven't slept at all " cady explained. he already knew about her job, everyone that knew her did, so he knew that she really needed energy for that. dancing around half-naked wasn't the easiest thing in the world. okay, so maybe it wasn;t that hard but if you're tired then it's just hell. "what about you? " she asked. she had only been there for three minutes and she had already finished more than half the cup of coffee. as lazy as she was, she was probably going to have to get up to get another cup. god, this was killing her. this was going to for sure be the last time she stayed up all day. well if she had work the next day, that is. "good luck! i have no idea how you deal with angry people all day. i swear, if would not be able to control myself and would probably tell them off. " she said. she had a low tolerance for people who were rude to her. yeah, she could come off as rude but that was only if people took what she said or did the wrong way.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] aj listened contently as cady spoke to him. she had to work again, of course. it was a no brainer. she worked late nights at the strip club. aj wasn't sure how he felt about that. sure, the girl was confident and loved the attention it gave her, but something about what she did felt off to him. andrew didn't like thinking that so many men were going to see her half naked. he found it slightly degrading to women. the man that went there seemed to be complete sleaze balls. though, he was probably just stereotyping them all. he knew that she was okay with it and frankly, that was all that mattered. whatever made his friends happy, made him happy. besides, it's not like what she did ever effected their friendship. when she wasn't totally exhausted, like she was today, the two could go out of hours and do crazy shit. "well, good luck with that." he breathed out. "be sure to take the longest nap ever when you get home." he couldn't help but be ever so slightly protective of her.
after telling her all about what he had to do tonight, their caffeine kick was completely explained. he took a huge gulp of his iced coffee before responding to her. "i mean, it's not as bad as i make it out to be." he always had to give others the benefit of the doubt. if they didn't tip him well, maybe they just hadn't gotten their paycheck in a while. if a customer was a bit angry, maybe they weren't having a good day. if aj had to pick any super power to have in his life, it would be mind reading. that way, he would always know what people's excuses were to not be happy. "if only i could say the things i wanted to say." aj could remember a few times where a customer was being so outrageous, he just had to leave and grab his manager. rarely does andrew ever get angry, but when he does, he unleashes a terrible beast. it's always best for him to walk away from situations. "but the customer is always right, of course!" he exclaimed in an overly cheery voice.
he didn't hate his job. it was his way for making money. and the cash in tips was good for when he had to get himself some alcohol. he couldn't exactly hand someone who was twenty-one his debit card for fear of being caught. he couldn't wait until he actually turned twenty-one. he was sure his party would be the ultimate rager. every kid from university of miami would be invited and all of his friends from outside school would be sure to be there as well. he just hoped he wouldn't vomit somewhere due to all of the drinks that people were bound to pass him. that was a year in the future though, so he wasn't too worried about it yet. "i would tell you to swing by and grab some food, but you obviously have work." he loved when his friends came by and grabbed a bite to eat. that meant he would go against all rules and sit down to chat with them. he never cared that much if a manager yelled at him.

[/style] cadence couldn't pretend that she wasn't just a tad curious about what her friends thought about her dancing. well, the friends that hadn't already told her. her best friends thought it was funny considering the fact that she didn't have the "stripper look." she didn't even realize that strippers had a look. anyways, she had thought about asking but that would have been stupid because if her friends were nice enough not to say they thought it was stupid, then why the hell would she make them. in the end she would just get pissed. as long as it wasn't important, she was fine. it was hell losing friends over something as trivial as a being a stripper, but that just helped her keep good friends around, like aj. if she wasn't dead tired and neither of them had work, then she would tell him they should go out and make fools of themselves together. aj was one of the few people that would do that with her. she smiled when he told her to take a nap. it was nice knowing someone cared. "i will....unless someone invites me to a party " she joked.
cadence really couldn't even think about going out to a party tonight, she was tired as fuck. she really couldn't wait to go back home after work and just sleep for the entire day. "i think i'm going to set the world record for the longest nap " cadence added. she shrugged at his words, working with other people always sounded bad to her. in her job, she could treat the men like crap and they just thought it was kinky. but if she did it at a restaurant, well, she would be fired the second the words slipped out of her mouth. "how are you even able to keep it all in? you must be a saint" cadence said. god, if anyone went overboard with her, she would probably smack them. cadence had never really been used to people being rude to her, everyone knew better. "oh god, are they forcing you to say that? even out of your job? are there cameras following you! tell me aj, and we can hide you! " cadence exaggerated, looking around as if she were actually looking for hidden cameras.
she didn't give a fuck that people were looking at her funny, it just made her laugh inside. "i would go after work if it wasn't so tired. maybe some other time. when do you work late again? i could bring some of the girls from work, they tip very well. " cadence said with a wink. if cadence got them riled up, they would probably buy tons of drinks and end up giving some of the workers lap dances. if other people weren't there, that is. they might be drunk but they didn't want to get others fired.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] andrew got a chuckle out of cady's joke. going to a party after her job? it would be interesting, but a mistake considering how tired she looked just sitting here. aj would love nothing more than for her to go out and have fun with him, but he wasn't about to tell her about his late night plans when she could probably use a twenty-four hour nap. he knew how he felt when he had a late night shift, but her job was a whole lot more demanding than his. aj couldn't even dance a parties, but dancing for a living seemed extremely difficult, he gave her that much. "yes!" andrew exclaimed to her world's longest nap suggestion. "make sure you keep a timer or something. we have to make the guiness book for this one." he laughed, seeing that she was probably capable of actually doing this one.
her next comment made him form a sly smile. andrew greene, a saint? that was a laugh. sure, he was kind to others, but the copious amounts of booze that he drank probably threw that title out the window. the amount of times that aj has gotten angry could probably be counted on one hand. he just didn't actually upset people enough to have them be upset with him. he was just a happy guy. it seemed unnatural to most, but that was how he was. aj laughed at cady as she began searching for the 'hidden cameras' in the room. "i'm sure they have me bugged somewhere." he began feeling his clothes, checking for a possible microphone in any of the stitches. it was nice that the two of them could be idiots and not care about what others thought. "wouldn't doubt it."
andrew actually smiled at the suggestion of her bringing some of the girls to the restaurant. he didn't care that they were strippers. if they worked with cady and were good friends with her, he assumed they were pretty fun people to be around. judging people wasn't something that aj ever did. "sure, bring 'em in one night!" he loved to get to know new people, so he was all for cady's suggestion. "how about i bring you some leftovers for lunch tomorrow?" aj suggested, knowing the girl would probably still be tired after her 'world's longest nap'. "i'll ask levi if he can make some extras." he was so happy that his best friend worked as a prep cook along side of him serving. aj was always able to sneak out food and not pay for it, like he should be.

[/style] by this time, cadence had already finished her cup of coffee and actually considered yelling so she could get another one. she was that lazy. but seeing as she didn't really have energy for yelling, at most she would probably talk loudly which was usual for her. god, this whole thing really was killing her. if it wasn't for aj, she would have probably passed out right now. "god, i doubt i will even have time to get a timer or put the timer on my phone! im going to take the longest nap in history and i won't even be able to prove it. how sad" cadence feigned sadness. it would be pretty awesome if there actually was a record for that, she had never actually owned one of those record books though she had always wanted one. she would definitely have to look into it when she wasn't tired. "oh well, if i can't record it, i will just have to try to break it again some other time" cady joked. she doubted she would ever let herself get this tired again.
okay, so maybe saint was a bit of an overstatement but he was better when it came to being nice to others than cadence. yeah, she cared about her friends and all that shit but if they were mean or had a bitch attitude she would either call them out on it or laugh. most of the time it was both. anyways, imagine with strangers? "damn it, that means we have to watch what we say... that probably means i can't talk now" cadence said, forming her mouth into an "o." afterwards, she let out a string of giggles. this was fun. she loved to party but even times like this made her happy, sometimes happier than partying. yes, cadence really meant that as strange as it might have seemed. anyways, she moved on from her coffee to the dr. pepper. once she finished that, she really would have to get up but this was too fun to leave. "i will, and i will bring them to your tables that way you can get lots of tips and you can take me out" cadence said with a grin.
she was kidding, of course. she didn't like letting her friends pay for her. she had this whole pride thing. the only people who she didn't mind were her boyfriends but they usually never even thought about taking her out. honestly, strippers were people too. they liked being taken out and shit. okay, back to reality. "that actually sounds good! but i'm not awake when you come, just knock. one of my friends will answer. just say you have food for me and they'll let you in. they know i love my food" she said with a laugh.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] aj noticed that cady had finished her coffee before she spoke her next few words. he would have gotten up and grabbed her another if she had asked, but he was far too lazy himself. and he figured the caffeine crash would hit eventually, he didn't want to sentence her to a bout of narcolepsy in the strip club. that may not exactly be the best way to make tips. "i'm pretty sure the record is 14 and a half days." aj wrinkled his brow as he tried to see the actual page in his head. when he was little, he begged his mom to get him those world record books. while, he didn't read them as often as he should have, he still remembered the important things in there. world's longest sleep, for example. as well as the world's oldest cat. random, but he loved it. "i would miss you too much if you actually did that. plus, wouldn't you be starving when you woke up?" when he thought about it, 14 and a half days was kind of ridiculous. "i would get a mountain of food after that."
andrew bit his lip when she suggested that they watch what they say. he raised his eyebrows in an urgent fashion, making his face appear alarmed. it was fun to joke around with cady. she was an awesome girl. he would say that she was the girl version of himself, but she was a lot better at speaking her mind than he was. aj would just take all the words thrown at him and walk away. or practically force friendship upon someone that didn't like him at first. he had to have everyone like him at all times. "oh well." aj shrugged, thinking about his work habits. "it's not like i haven't already don'e a thousand other things that could have gotten me fired already." he remembered times that he took food without paying because levi had extras. or joking around loudly with fauna in the back. or just sitting down with customers and chatting. he wasn't exactly employee of the month. "for some reason, they keep me around." he exaggerated his sigh.
with the suggestion, aj didn't think it was a bad idea to take cady out sometime. sure, he wasn't her boyfriend or anything, but it never hurt to take a friend out every once and a while. he appreciated them and wanted to show them somehow. he didn't say anything about it though. he smiled when she accepted his offer to take her food. "and i'll be sure not to disturb your slumber." he chuckled. "we need to break that record." okay, so maybe he wasn't giving this whole record thing up. it was a joke, but it was still fun to bring up. aj could never imagine breaking a record in his life. maybe he could do something obscure, but it was impossible to think of something that was yet to be done. "what time do you need to go into work?" he asked, knowing she probably had a later shift than him.

[/style] cadence looked around. didn't coffee shops have people coming to you and asking for your order? or was that only in the morning when there were tons of old people that didn't like getting up. if that was the case, she would start coming here in the morning from now on. she laughed in her head, she doubted she would even be awake in the morning, and if she was then she would have just dozed off once again. now that she was dead tired, she was no longer going to waste her mornings being tired even if there was something fun happening. she would just have to go when she was less tired. her eyes widened when aj told her the record. it sounded amazing but she didn't want to waste those days sleeping when she could have been having fun. don't get her wrong, she loves sleeping but not for that long. "i'm sure i can break it but you're right. i would miss food....and of course my favorite guy " cady said with a wink. if she actually slept that long she would hope to wake up to a party or something. she would have a lot of energy after that sleep session.
"a mountain? ha that wouldn't be enough for me after missing food for fourteen days " she added. cadence smiled at him. if her friends and he didn't have to work, she was sure she would spend all her time just being like this. sure, a party every now and then but this was good enough for her. "oh really? like what? i thought saints only did saintlike things " she joked. imagine if she worked there. if aj would have gotten fired, then cadence would have literally been kicked out. probably on the first day. hell, the first minute seemed more like it. "probably cause you're cool and they need cool kids like you " cady said, but this time she was being honest. hell, she wouldn't keep a boring person around, she wanted someone lively that people would want to be around. that was probably why they kept her around, aside from the fact that she was good at her job. no guys wanted to be around a frigid stripped, they wanted someone real. well on the inside, on the outside they weren't picky.
"thank you, but if you come in with food i doubt i'll mind much. i prefer food over sleep any day " cadence said. while sleep made her happy, food made her a million times happier. it was good and if she could she would always eat. fortunately, she had an amazing digestive system and stayed skinny. well combine that with her dance practice as well as all the dancing she did at parties and you got her body. "we do, i just won't sleep for a whole week. that should do the trick. so i just need coffee, three weeks off from work....make that four and ill be good to go. unless you want to take my place on the pole then it will be even better "cadence said with a laugh. god, now she was thinking about it. "i have to be there at ten but we wait like an hour because no one comes in till twelve "

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] aj slurped up the very last of his iced coffee while cady spoke. the cool liquid filled his throat and he was instantly disappointed when it was gone. the caffeine had yet to kick in and he was seriously going to need it if he wanted to survive any amount of this shift. he was going to be stuck there during the dinner rush, which usually meant people waiting for tables and tired and cranky customers when they sat down. that was how it always was. aj figured his boss always scheduled him for this time because of his kind nature, but even andrew wanted a little break from being nice every once and a while. while, he never actually did that, it would be nice to have that opportunity if he was given the chance. aj was pretty much like the hulk, if one was willing to make that comparison. most of the time, he was a calm, collected guy, but when something angered him, he turned into a vicious beast, but that was extremely rare.
"okay, so maybe a mountain is an understatement." he commented, bringing himself back into the conversation and away from his other thoughts. "maybe enough food to cover the entirety of the united states." that would be a lot of food, but we're talking massive hunger when you woke up. aj laughed at the mention of him being saint like again. maybe the things he did at the restaurant weren't the worst in the book, but it made him come off as lazy most of the time. that was merely in his laid-back nature. it he could accomplish something with the least amount of effort, he would. "i'm pretty much the coolest." he faked smugness as he shrugged his shoulders. aj was pretty happy with himself, but not confident. he always felt he needed improvement, like he needed everyone to be completely happy with him.
"i'm sure you'll smell the food before i even come into your room." he mentioned, knowing the girl loved her food. she was so tiny, so it was hard to believe, but she led a pretty active lifestyle. aj, being a guy, seemed to have a quicker metabolism than anyone. he ate junk all the time, especially when he was hungover. one would think that all the alcohol he consumed would go right to a beer gut, but there wasn't even a tiny hint of one on his body. his torso was long and completely straight. "if it's for the record, i would be more than willing to dance in your place." he let out a hearty laugh at him even attempting to dance. he could hardly dance at parties. granted, aj was usually drunk when he did, but the boy had no moves at all. "ugh, i have to be at work for the dinner rush at six. kill me now, please?" he formed a gun with his fingers and pulled the imaginary trigger.

[/style] "okay i need more coffee, do you want anything? " cadence finally said, getting up and making her way to the front of the line. it was nice not to have to wait for her coffee, especially since she really needed it. this time she got two cups of coffee for herself and an iced coffee for aj. she hoped she got the right now, if not then, at least she tried. cadence pretended to think about it then nodded. an entire universe full of food actually sounded pretty good right at that moment. with that thought, she began to imagine having her favorite food around every corner, even when she wasn't hungry. god, she would get so fat. "if that was possible, i think i would be in food heaven. i might get obese though so be prepared. " cadence joked. now she was actually imagining herself bloated up like a balloon. it would be funny to see, especially if she went to work. but she would still rock the fuck out of the obese look. yes, her thoughts were pretty strange and would probably freak anyone who knew her out,
cadence laughed at his smugness, even though she knew it was fake. it really wasn't like aj to be like that, if it was well, she would have spent much of her time teasing him about it. he was probably one of the few people that didn't get bothered with her teasing. at least her joking teasing not sexual teasing. any boy would like that kind of teasing. it felt nice to have a friend that didn't think of her as a sexual object at least. sure, she enjoyed it but it was nice to actually have a conversation. cadence did have thoughts and feelings. god, this sounded like one of those sob stories and it was actually getting on her nerves. so she stopped thinking about it. "oh you are, that's the only reason i like you. i need you to bump up my cool factor " cadence faked her shallow-ness. she really didn't care about how someone was just as long as they were good to talk to and down to have fun. that was kind of why she had a lot of friends. okay, so that did sound a bit conceited, what she meant to say that she was cool with most people. she might have gotten annoyed with people and told them so but if they were okay afterwards, then so was she.
"i probably will, don't be afraid if i just pop up randomly, got it " cadence added. the only way she wouldn't smell the food would be if she didn't pass out the second she got home from work which was unlikely. she was not about to spend more time out of bed than she was supposed to."maybe i should pretend to stay asleep then sneak over and watch you dance. that would be a sight to see. " cady joked. now she was imagining that too. it wasn't a bad imagine but it was a funny one. if they goofed off around each other she imagined just how bad he would goof off onstage. surely, the guys in the club wouldn't like it but the other strippers would. "i would but then i'll have no one to laugh with and bring me food " cadence said with a sad face.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] "more coffee would be awesome right now." aj clasped his hands in front of him in a prayer-like position and gave his friend the best puppy dog eyes he could possibly muster. his body was craving caffeine at the moment. he needed something to wake him up before he went to work and the one drink he just had wasn't cutting it. at least not yet, he had no doubt that all of the stimulant would just hit him all at once when he clocked in for his shift. the benefits? he would get orders faster than a speeding bullet. the issues? he saw none at the moment. he just wanted to do his work and get it over with so he could crash and sleep in his apartment. andrew grinned when he saw cady with another iced coffee for him. "have i told you that i love you?" he laughed, grabbing for the cold coffee in her hand. she began speaking again and he grinned with the straw in his mouth. "after getting me this, you could weight a ton and i would not care in the least." aj didn't care what his friends looked like. as long as they were kind to him, kindness would always be returned.
smug was not a trait that aj could pull off. he was happy for that. he enjoyed being a likable guy. sure, some people had issues with him, but he often resolved them. if someone disliked him, he figured out why. he took things to heart way too easily. say someone was simply annoyed with his habits, he would try and change himself for them just so he could gain another friend. he wasn't after popularity at all, he simply couldn't stand anyone hating him for whatever reason. that's why cockiness was never a quality he possessed. maybe he tried once and a while when he was drunk, but being intoxicated was a different side of aj. "that's what i thought." he shrugged, making a very sad attempt at being overly confident. "i guess i'll keep you around." he broke and started laughing before he took a huge gulp of his coffee.
"i will be fully prepared." he responded to the possibility of being scared by cady's sudden need for food. aj was aware that the girl could eat, but he wanted to get her what she wanted, so he asked her a simple question. "what should i grab you, by the way?" there was a pretty extensive menu at the restaurant, so he could have levi make him whatever she wanted. frankly, he would get her something not on the menu if ingredients allowed. "you might be scarred for life if i ever worked there. you're right though. it would certainly be a sight to see." sure, aj was attractive in his own way, but he never saw himself anywhere along the lines of sexy. if anything, he would be laughing, dancing to terrible 90's music, and dressed as something really random if he had to fill in for his friend. it was a good thing that he would never do that in his life. cady was amazing and all, but there was a line drawn in the sand when it came aj ever stepping foot near a pole. andrew pouted a little bit. "awh. i'm glad one of the reasons you won't kill me is because of food." he joked, laughing as he took another sip of his drink.

[/style] "who could say no to that face" cadence said, pinching his cheek as if he were a little boy. she left the table silently laughing to herself, treating him like a child was just so funny to her since she wouldn't actually do that to a kid. she didn't do well with kids, or anything that needed taking care off. maybe from afar or something. she iced coffee left her hand cold, so she let out a sigh of relief when she wrapped her hands around her own warm coffee. she wondered what would have happened if she drank a couple more cups of these things. she would probably be all jittery and have tons of energy but that didn't seem like much of a downside. unless it made it impossible for her to go to sleep once more, then she would throw a bitch fit and have to stop herself from hitting herself for being such a idiot. but she was sure it wouldn't come to that, there were always sleeping pill that could help. "i'm pretty sure you have, i've just lovable like that" she joked. not that she wasn't lovable but she wasn't completely conceited. she just knew her good traits and preferred to hide her bad ones. or she thought she hid them, she didn't really try that hard.
"aww for that you get this" cadence said as she planted a kiss on his cheek. considering it was cady, that was the best thing she could give someone. in her mind, kissing someone on the cheek meant she really cared about you. she usually had to explain that it was saved for her close friends, not random guys she slept with. they usually got to sleep with her which might have sounded good in guys' mind but, well she really didn't care what they thought about. for a moment, cady actually believed she made him feel bad and started feeling kind of awkward. she wasn't good at dealing with people when they were upset. unless they were ultra, super close and even then she felt like she was saying the wrong thing. finally, he laughed and she felt more at ease. that was the worse five seconds of her life. "you know you're life wouldn't be complete without me. " she joked. she wondered if she was really as awesome as she made herself out to be but after a second of thinking about it, she decided she really didn't care to know. it wasn't like knowing would make any different. she wasn't about to change.
cadence thought about it for a second. "maybe some pasta? you know i know any pasta like thing" cadence said. and she meant it. it could have been some non pasta stuff but as long as it tasted a bit like it, she was happy with it. "trust me, i've seen worse things" cadence shuddered. she couldn't even begin to think about the things she had witnessed at the club. some sights were just to horrendous for words. she had only been working there for two years but there were videos to show what not to do or what kind of things could happen and well, she lost her lunch that dau/ "and i guess also because of your interesting conversation" she shrugged, laughing after a couple of seconds as a sign that she was kidding.
