[style=font-family: times; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform: lowercase; color: #989898; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;]344 WORDS FOR anyone first post with nicole! and i'm modeling the carnival after the one in adventureland :3 DREAM [/style] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #6d6d6d;] [style=padding: 10px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; height: 475px; overflow: auto; color: #1e1e1e;] [/style]nicole jumped up, startled by the sound of her alarm. she had set it before she had started studying so that she didn't have to worry about getting to work late. she closed her book and put it on her dresser before going into her closet and getting her uniform shirt and some jeans. she also slipped in her tennis shoes, she learned from experience that going in flip flops or flats was never good for work. you could end up having to go home with your feet that stunk of vomit. it was disgusting but it was the price she paid for having what she believed to be the best job ever. she had loved the carnival ever since her parents first took her and her sister when they were young. they could barely get on any of the rides but it was still fun for her. anyways, once she was done getting ready, she grabbed her bag, walked out to her car, and drove to the carnival. she got a good parking spot since there were almost no people around. they liked coming by at night because everything was open and there was more entertainment. she put her bag in her cubby and walked with her co-worker down to the ride that they handled. when she had first starting working here, she had been working in the games area. it was hell because people got pissed if they didn't win. at least in the rides the only thing she had to deal with was people complaining that the ride was close. and when it broke down but they had a good handy-man that made sure nothing like that happened. three hours later, she was able to take a break. seeing as she worked there, she didn't have to pay for any of the food. it was kind of obvious why nicole loved the carnival. it wasn't the best paying job but it didn't matter since all the money went to her anyways. plus, she got to talk to alot of people there. |
