She had had enough of Miami and had therefore decided to visit an old high school friend in England. It had been a long week this past week, between a day of flying, all the tourist attractions they had hit, and the drinking that had been long overdue. Though she had enjoyed herself, Aubrey was anxious to return to Miami. She had missed her bed, her own apartment, and Remy. Their relationship wasn’t the best right now, with all the arguing they had been doing since her father’s death, but she missed him nonetheless. She fiddled with her iPod touch, sorting through her songs for a playlist, making herself something to listen to on the plane ride home.
She finished the playlist and turned off her iPod to save the battery life. As she tucked it back into her carry-on bag, she noticed the flight sign above was turning the green on-time to a red delayed. She sat up straight, her anger immediately making her face hot, but was stopped abruptly when she started to listen to the whispering going on around her. “Excuse me, what did you just say?” she rudely asked a group of people sitting behind her. The older women stared at Aubrey over their shoulders, but leaned toward her and filled her in on what was going on.
Aubrey face was drained completely of its colour. There was no way she could be hearing correctly, or these women must be confused. When the women noticed Aubrey’s reaction, she slowly nodded her head. “I’m sorry dear, but it’s what the security has been saying.” Aubrey shook her head and turned back around. The flight she was supposed to be boarding back to Miami had received a bomb threat. The airport was being shut down and all outgoing flights were being cancelled until further notice. There had been no further updates, so no one was aware how long this was going to last. Aubrey ran her hands through her hair and slouched in the chair. She had no idea what to do, other than sit here in a silent panic, waiting for further instruction and update.

if i leave my heart with you tonight promise me that you're gonna treat it right. | Izzy had been on a shoot in London, England. She had actually really enjoyed herself and it had been successful which she was glad about because it finally seemed like she was going towards bigger things. Bigger things meaning that she was becoming even more successful. As she’d enjoyed her time in England, she had missed the weather in Miami, after all she had lived in L.A previously and when did it ever rain in L.A? She hadn’t been used to the constant rain and miserable weather, she didn’t like it and could understand why quite a few British people were rude, though it was no excuse, and it didn’t really change her view on the place, she loved London.
She then smiled at the thought of coming back to Miami. It seemed to be her home now, she had made it her home, she had her house, her friends....what else did she need? Honestly there wasn’t much more. Then there was Cain, yes Cain. Things were complicated with him as far as she was concerned, not directly, more her feelings towards him. Unfortunately the press had taken their movie night together out of proportion, but what had gone on between them had been their business and no one else’s, she still wasn’t used to that kind of attention and her private life being invaded now and then, fortunately she stayed out of the limelight most of the time, she was glad about that.
Sitting in the airport waiting for her plane to board had been the boring part of her trip. She then heard some older women tell a girl about some updated news. She looked up on the screen and saw that the plane, was delayed and she let out a long sigh are you kidding me? the flight was going to be long enough, plus she would ne jet lagged, and now she was hearing that the plane was delayed because of some bomb threat....ugh some people were so dumb, if this was some kind of prank she would not be happy. She decided to join in the conversation and ask the younger girl what was going on, since she had only really overheard. Did I hear right? she asked the plane has been delayed because of a bomb threat? she asked. I need to get home! it was true, the next day she was due on another shoot, this was just way too annoying for words.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=style, width: 450px; background-color: transparent;true] take your broken wings and learn to fly
nicole took a deep breath before swallowing the pill then chasing it down with water. she was in the airport bathroom, trying to calm herself down before her flight. she had come to london for her foreign language conference and while she had been excited for it, she had also been very nervous. her aunts had reassured her that everything was going to be okay but she spent the first flight in the bathroom, puking. one of her classmates that had come along with her recommended these pills that would help her calm down but the effect was really slow. which was why she had taken this other one. unfortunately, she had missed her meal so she wouldn't puke and ended up running straight to the bathroom to basically puke water. it was a good trip but the flights were killing her. nicole wiped at her mouth and sat down on the toilet, hoping that the queasy feeling would escape her. she heard the door open and two girls were talking about the bomb threat. at that instant, nicole began to pay more attention to their conversation. apparently no flights were leaving because of the bomb threat. while she was kind of happy that she wouldn't have to get on board at that moment, she really needed to get home.
she waited a couple of minutes, just to be sure she was okay, then walked out of the stall. the girls were gone so she couldn't really ask them when they were going to get home. nicole rinsed off her mouth a couple of times, then pulled her tooth brush out of her backpack when the vomit taste wouldn't leave. she then walked out of the bathroom and toward her gate. she saw a small crowd of people and made her way to them. they were talking about the flight and one of the girls piped up that she needed to get home. "i need to get home also! is there any other way we could get home? like another airport or something? " nicole asked. she hoped they would say there was another way besides a plane but that was kind of unlikely. if there had been another alternative she would have gone on that from the beginning. anyways, she waited for someone to say something. nicole really wanted to know what was going on but she didn't want to bother the workers. she was sure they had enough to deal with.
412 words for aubrey and isabelle. wearing this. muse is okay. |

[atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=style, line-height:80%;][atrb=style, width:350px; padding:10px; background:#ffffff;] lions make you brave It wasn’t the actual bomb threat that had Aubrey in an angry panic; it was the idea of being stuck in this airport for however long it would take for the issue to be settled. She pulled the hood of her sweatshirt over her ponytail, and rested her elbow on her knee and her chin in the palm of her hand. She closed her eyes and tried to block out all the chattering around her. The older women behind her continued to chatter amongst themselves about the threat, but Aubrey tried to ignore them. She had almost had everything blocked out when she noticed a female sitting a few seats down was trying to chime in on the conversation. Aubrey sighed, after everything that had been going on in her life she was in no mood to converse with other people delayed by the threat.
Aubrey subtly rolled her eyes at the two girl’s desperate pleas about having to get home. “Right, because you’re the only two who have to get home,” Aubrey snorted. The humidity in the airport and the growl of her stomach were making her more upset than she needed to be. Comments about how badly these girls felt they needed to get home irked her. Aubrey didn’t need to be home, but she desperately wanted to be. She missed her best friend, Remmy. After the week she had had in England staying on residence, she had been looking forward to seeing Remmy.
Aubrey had already checked in her luggage before sitting down to wait. She swung her carry-on over her shoulder and abruptly stood to her feet. “Look, I don’t know any more than you do,” she replied. “Right now I’m hungry, so find an employee to pester with your questions.” She knew she was being a bitch to two girl she had never met before, but their questions and worries were only feeding her mood. Aubrey marched over to the food court and quickly ordered and paid for a large fry and a bottle of water. She knew if she ate too much, it would just add to her spoiled mood.
