DOUBLED UP
the aquarium is open extra hours for summer, so you decide to visit one night. once inside you notice its not that busy, so you enjoy the time with your group. you are walking along when the lights in the aquarium go out. somehow you get seperated from your group and from everyone. they put the aquarium on lockdown and you three get locked inside. how will you get out? good luck. be sure to post in order stated above. andrew greene (jocelyn) , fauna madley (dakota) , michaela harrington (wren)

he took an unusually slow pace walking around the exhibits so he could remain right beside the gorgeous redhead. "if i could be any fish, I'd probably be a clown fish." Andrew started, hoping to be interesting in conversation. aj felt like he could be a real bore sometimes, so he pressured himself to constantly say some odd things at times. "they get to hide in those sea anemones. and finding nemo and all..." he trailed off with a chuckle, finding his supposed conversation starter to be absolutely ridiculous. he hoped fauna didn't mind his desperate search for words. he especially hoped she wouldn't find him completely lame after the night was through. aj would find that to be a crushing blow to his emotions. he just liked her too damn much. andrew watched the orange and white striped fish swim around it's enclosure for quite some time. he sort of envied the fish in a way. that aquatic creature was able to hide from everything else and get a break for a little while. aj couldn't. he had to stay out, be around friends at all times, and keep them all happy because that was simply how he was. he liked people to like him. if someone said something nasty about him, he would try and find it why so he could fix it. there was no metaphorical anemone for him to hide in, not that he would ever use it.
aj smiled quickly at fauna before moving on to the next animal. electric eels graced the glass enclosure. "these things have always kind of freaked me out." he mentioned. and with that, the power went off abruptly. was there something wrong with a fuse? maybe just their area was out. andrew couldn't be too sure, so he instinctively grabbed fauna's hand and took a quick walking pace toward the next room. the sharks. unfortunately, that area also seemed to be deserted and dark as well. there was an ominous feeling in the air that wasn't just created by the beasts in the room. they had been locked in the aquarium. while, it had always been a childhood dream of his, now that it was actually happening, it didn't seem all so amazing. "well, this has been a strange turn of events." aj chuckled, noticing that he still had a grip on fauna's hand "you okay?" he asked, squeezing her hand a little bit before looking slightly down at her, feeling his eyes adjust to the dark.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] aj greene. oh fauna couldn't believe this was happening. they were finally going on a first date at an aquarium. it was cute and romantic, and well, she was just in heaven that aj would even ask her out. they were walking around the aquarium and even though they didn't look like a couple, she was so happy, and she knew that they were kind of together. it wasn't the official, will you be my girlfriend, but it was the will you go on a date with me sort of thing. and aj was just as nervous as she was, and she could tell by how he kept talking. "a clown fish?" she said, a giggle coming out at the end of it. "i'd be a sea horse!" she hadn't had this much fun in a long time. she was laughing and smiling, and she loved being able to be like this with aj. she really only was like this with scott, but she was happy that she could grow to be like this with aj. even if he wouldn't know about her past in a way that he probably should.
"sea horses are just so pretty! i wish i could be like them. squirting bubbles from their noses," she said as she wrinkled her nose. she let out another laugh and looked up at him. he was not too much taller than him thankfully, but he was tall enough to fauna. not towering over him, but tall enough where she had to stand on her tip toes if she wanted to kiss him. not that she knew that, but she dreamt about it a lot. "and just look at them! they are the horses of the sea! hence the word sea horse!" she felt like a little girl around him. and that was something she liked about him. she could just be silly and cute and he would love like her all the same. it was something that she found extremely enjoyable about aj.
she nodded her head and agreed with him about how eels freaked her out. they did her too. she was always afraid of getting shocked. and fish kind of freaked her out a little bit, so it was hard for her. but then the power went out. she felt him grasp her hand and pull her into a different room, the shark room. she was scared, almost like the night that he asked her out, where it was dark and she didn't know what was going to happen. but she was afraid that something was going to happen to her. he kept hold of her hand as he asked if she was okay. "i'm alright," she said, grasping his hand a little tighter and moving a little closer, "just a little scared." then she saw a figure off into the distance. not too far, but far enough where she couldn't see the person's face. "hello," she called out, hoping that she heard him. she wrapped an arm around aj, so that she knew he was still close by. it was a big step for her, but she was scared and wasn't thinking correctly. "do you work here?" she asked, hoping that maybe they would say yes.

WHEN YOU WALK IN THE ROOM |
[/div] Michaela stared at the majestic sharks as they slowly circled their assigned aquarium exhibit. All though they were a ferocious looking creature, Michaela had always been amazed by them. She took a look over her shoulder and quickly realized she had managed to lose the group she had been touring with. She was reassured by the voices of a couple nearby, and the slight worry cleared her mind when she spotted a young couple just a few exhibits over. She placed her palm against the glass tank and ran her fingers in slow circles, without even thinking about she started to lightly trace the name of her twin brother.
Edward’s life had been taken in a drunken driving incident; the driving was the son of a family that her family had known themselves. There was a long debacle over charges and lawsuits that had ended with a long-term feud between the two families. It wasn’t that Michaela wasn’t close with her other siblings, but she had had a real connection with her twin brother. They hadn’t always gotten along, but Edward had been the person that Michaela went to first about anything and everything. She felt destroyed when he died and as a result, she went to live in Australia with a friend.
She had recently returned to Miami, and was in the process of getting back on track with her photography. She pulled her Nikon camera out of her purse and adjusted the settings for the dim lighting, before snapping a few shots of the sharks. As she stepped back to go through the shots, the power suddenly went out around her. She blinked hard as her eyes adjusted to the dark, the only thing lighting the area was the blue water from the tanks of the shark exhibit. She looked up, worries kicking in and spotted the young couple holding hands. “Hello, do you work here?”
Michaela almost jumped as the female called out. As habit, Michaela looked over her shoulder to see if there were any other people around them. There weren’t and a small feeling of panic started to settle in Michaela’s mind. She tucked her camera bag into her purse and took a few steps closer to the couple, now able to make out their shapes as her eyes fully adjusted to the dark. “Um, no just checking out the exhibits,” she answered, clearing her throat to make her voice louder. She never found it easy to talk to strangers, but a situation like this was a bit necessary if Michaela didn’t want to feel completely alone in the dark aquarium.
She took the last remaining few steps towards them and stopped a few feet short. “I guess I sort of got separated from the group I was touring with,” she added, nervously rubbing her right elbow with her left hand. She glanced around them, noticing that all the exhibits around them were also completely dark. “So, any idea what’s going on here?” she asked.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] aj gave a slight chuckle at fauna. "a sea horse?" he questioned right back at her. he guessed that their respective fish suited them. aj was quite the clown himself and fauna was pretty damn adorable, just like a sea horse. the girl seemed really excited to be enjoying this time right now. he really hoped that he didn't give off the impression that he wasn't. he wasn't exactly the kind of person to jump up and down and scream and shout. okay, sometimes he was, but he was making all attempts to maintain his cool. aj didn't want to come off as a complete spa with fauna. he wanted her to like him, not think that he's a total freak. maybe freaking out can come a little later in their relationship, but right now, they were just testing the waters. an appropriate metaphor for where he had asked her to go on a date. "it would be a little weird if you squirted bubbles out of your nose though." he smiled as tiny lines formed at the bridge of her nose.
he knew it was probably a terrible idea to take her into the shark area when the power went out, but he had to check if the power was going on anywhere else. he was oddly elated when she moved closer toward him. he kept his grip firm on her hand when fauna called out to someone else in the room. aj didn't notice the figure at first, but he desperately hoped it was an employee so they could tell the two what was going on. or at least direct them to the exit. his heart sunk a little bit when the person said they were just looking at the exhibits. it looked like someone else was trapped in the aquarium with them. "to be honest, i have no clue what's happening." he answered the stranger. the person wouldn't be a stranger to him soon. especially if they were stuck in this place together.
aj looked around the place, feeling the massive animals swimming around them. sharks weren't exactly the best things to be around when the power was out. he knew from enough discovery channel shark weeks that those things could see in the dark a lot better than a human could. his eyes slowly adjusting, he introduced himself to the girl before him. "i'm aj, by the way." the boy had to think of a plan. he had to do something to get himself, fauna, and whoever she was out of this mess. his eyes flickered around the place. "maybe there's someone at the entrance?" aj's voice went up in pitch at the end of his statement, forming a question instead. he couldn't be entirely sure if there was anyone else in the place besides these three. the only problem was, he completely forgot where the entrance was. the twists and turns that kept the guest in the aquarium moving sort of discombobulated him. "anyone know where the entrance is?" he let out a laugh, hoping to lighten the situation a tad.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] fauna was scared, she would admit it. of course, aj had brought her into the shark part of the aquarium, and that scared her even more. she had no idea what those things were capable of, and she sure as hell was not ready to be underneath them while it was pitch black. she moved even closer to aj so that they were standing right next to each other. she was scared, and she wasn't going to let him move away from her if her life depended on it. the hand around his waist gripped tighter as the two of them started to talk to each other. she couldn't see very well, but she could feel that he was still there, so some of her nerves calmed down. it was better than nothing, or so she thought. she knew that if she started to speak, her voice would be shaky. it wasn't that often that fauna got scared, though it seemed that she got scared everytime she was with aj. the first time they met she was scared, but she wouldn't let this stranger know that. and since they couldn't see each other's faces, they wouldn't know ever.
aj then started to ask them if they knew where the entrance was. fauna had no clue. her mind was a little busy when they had gone into the aquarium. filled with thoughts of her perfect first date with aj. again, these were things she would never say out loud. then she piped up for the first time since she had called out to the other girl that was trapped with them. "don't you think that they'd lock the entrance?" she said quietly, mostly looking at aj, who had come up with the idea in the first place. she felt her hand squeeze his side a little bit. she knew that they had just started dating, but being scared drew out a more clingy side to fauna. she never liked it, but she couldn't help it. especially in a situation like this. "i mean, and they should've put out an announcement or something," she hated her logical side, and her mouth, always coming out at the wrong points in conversation. she was a quiet girl, that was what she was used to and what she wished to be. her mouth sometimes didn't want her to be a quiet girl and completely took over.
she figured staying quiet and not putting her two cents in were the best thing to do about now. she was never one to come up with bright ideas, especially in situations that were on the verge of giving her an anxiety attack. she knew that the probability of anything happening to her right now were as low as they could get, but fauna watched too many movies for her own good. and she knew that when the lights went out in the aquarium that there was either a killer on the loose, or that there was going to be a shark attack. and fauna was afraid of all of that. it was kind of a problem how paranoid she was about little things that only happened in movies. she felt herself shaking slightly, a chill entering her body. it was slightly cold, even though it was miami, florida. it was an aquarium. she looked between the two of them again and hoped they had a plan. she didn't want to stay in here forever. because that would be extremely frightening.
