WAITING ON LETTERS FROM HOME

you're in your car. finally getting home from where ever you have been. you start hearing police police sirens, and suddenly you see a car speeding in front of them. you realize you're in the middle of a high speed car chase. before you have time to pull away, he slams into one of the cars causing a chain reaction to occur, hitting two other badly cars in the process. the injuries range from fatal to minor cuts. who will you be? please post in the proper order: ashley watson (tina), blanca valdes (megan), grace collins (andrea).

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 300px; height: 380px; background-color:#fff; border-left: 0px solid #cdcdcd; border-right: 0px solid #cdcdcd;] slamming the hood down on her white 1979 mustang ashley watson wiped her hands together and looked at the highway in front of her, shielding her eyes with her bronzed hand. she let out a sigh, she still had a long drive to get home. she was coming from adam's place and this time she was in not a great mood. stepping onto the gravel her boots crunched beneath her as she stepped in the car slamming the heavy door behind her. her hand holding onto the key in the ignition she turned it and the car started to life with a loud shriek. i know baby, ill fix you for good tomorrow, just take me home tonight she turned on her blinker and turned out into traffic. settling into a speed of 60 she turned on her radio to distract herself from her thoughts. she continued to drive, not hearing the speeding sirens behind her. tapping her fingers the radio went staticy as she crossed towns. piece of shi- she paused her words and looked in her rear view mirror to see at least four or five cop cars speeding behind her, gaining up to her. what the fu- she was confused, but before she could complete her thoughts the silver car in front of her sped off. she was in the middle of a terrible car chase. she felt her heart racing and clutched onto her steering wheel, so hard that her knuckles turned white. she swallowed away and turned her blinker on to pull over. she looked down for a split second and when she looked up, utter chaos. the car in front of her had slammed on their breaks because the car in front of them had slammed into the silver car that was speeding from the cops. this had caused a few cars to slam into one another and even one to flip. holy shit! ashley managed to breath out. she managed to pull a lane over and looked next to her, when she looked forward it was too late to even break. her car slammed into the side of the silver car that was causing all of this. she felt her face slam forward and she didnt have time to reflect the slam. her whole body felt shocks of pain. everything was a blur but she felt a hit from behind and a small thud. things went dark and all she could hear was sirens and car tires skidding to stops behind them. was this really happening? she felt the blood seeping from her nose and she knew a few ribs had been broken. she let out a cough and didnt move due to the pain. she managed to steady her breathing, trying to stay awake, the damn radio coming back into tune to the song she was jamming out to before.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:350px; background-color:#ffffff; border: solid #87649F 0px; padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px; padding-top: 10px; padding-bottom: 10px;] until forever comes, you'll find us chasing the sun - she was late. she was so late. looking at the time on her dashboard she sighed shaking her head. she was suppose to be home by now. she knew that gio and decio would understand she got held up at school but it seemed that school was basically all she had been doing the past few weeks. she hardly had time for anything else between all of her homework. she had promised to make more time but she hadn’t been able to with her essay’s due. it just had been a crazy past few weeks but after finally finishing her last essay she was suppose to spend some time with them tonight. she knew since she had tomorrow off she could be with them tomorrow but she had made a promise to them that she would and she wanted to get back in time to at least make a proper dinner instead of ordering out food like they usually did. shaking her head at the thought she reached over to grab her I-pod hooking it into her car and letting the music play through her speakers putting her hands back on the wheel humming along to chasing the sun but the wanted. pushing the speed limit a bit she sang along with the song not really paying much attention to the traffic behind her only checking her mirror every so often focusing on getting home as fast as she could. when she heard the sirens she glanced up in her review mirror blinking slightly seeing six or seven cop cars speeding towards her. to engrossed in the police cars speeding towards her she didn’t notice the car in front of her frantically breaking as another car sped off. she had a split second to choose what to do before she slammed into them yanking on her wheel she slammed on her breaks trying to swerve around the car in front of her so she wouldn’t hurt anyone but in the process she flipped her own car. the pain was intense. she could hear honking and screeching breaks but she was trying to focus on not passing out. blinking she noticed her car hand landed upside down. she could feel blood trickling down her forehead and knew she had hit her head but it didn’t feel too horrible. the most pain was coming from her arm. looking down she noticed a pool of blood by her arm and swallowed slightly to not throw up using her good arm to fight with her seatbelt once she got unhooked from her seatbelt she managed to pull herself out of her window crawling a little away from her car pulling off her sweater tying it around her arm and standing groaning at the pain in her head and her arm seeing a girl in a car in front of her. she didn’t know how many people were hurt but it was chaos managing to make it to the car she could see a girl blood coming out from her nose and looked ready to pass out. moving towards the car she managed to open the girls door with a bit of effort she looked over the girl. she looked in bad shape. knowing it was better not to try and get her out she looked around trying to see if there was anyone else to help. “hey” murmurs to the girl. “my names blanca, im going to try and get some help, just stay awake for me alright” murmurs ignoring the pain in her own arm. this girl needed help more then she did. - status: finished. outfit: HERE. listening to: chasing the sun.

grace laughed loudly as she climbed into the the passenger seat of her car. she had gone out with her friend and was a bit buzzed so she let him drive her. she hadn't expected to drink at all, she thought they were just going to get some chinese food and talk but then they ended up walking to the bar next door and a couple of guys bought her some drinks. and grace could never say no to a drink. she did manage to stop after her third one but that had been enough to made her giddy and dizzy. anyways, she settled herself into the seat. she put her seatbelt on and watched as her friend put it on but didn't connect it correctly. she was going to say something but she got distracted and by the time he began to drive, she had long forgotten about the seatbelt mishap. he drove past a lot of cars, faster than grace would have ever dared. she wondered if he was buzzed, she hadn't seen him drink but she had been flirting with the guys so they could get her more drinks. she had money of her own but if she could get someone else to buy her drink, then she wouldn't deny them that privilege. she laughed loudly, she sounded so conceited. her friends looked at her with a grin, he was used to her acting strange when buzzed.

they continued driving even when the sounds of sirens swirled around them. she looked around to see what was going on and watched as a car speed up past them, faster than her friend which was pretty fast. "slow down !" grace said, her accent more apparent now that she was yelling. unfortunately, he wasn't listening to her and continued at his normal speed. she told him once more until he began to slow down. but it wasn't fast enough. the speeding car had slammed into another car. she watched as a car flipped over while others were just crashing into other cars. grace held on to the seatbelt, and even though she knew it would happened, she wasn't prepared for the feeling that overcame her when their car was hit. it wasn't as bad as the cars in front but her friend had hut himself pretty bad with the windshield and was groggy. she shook him, the tears escaping from her eyes. she was no longer buzzed, if anything this had scared the drink out of her. "wait here, okay. i'm going to get some help. just please hold on" grace said as she made her way out of the car. other people were in worse condition but she needed to find him some help also. grace looked around and walked forward, but she ended up tripping over someone.

she looked and saw some girl who was with another girl that looked much worse than her own friend. "oh my god" was the only thing that came out of her mouth.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 300px; height: 380px; background-color:#fff; border-left: 0px solid #cdcdcd; border-right: 0px solid #cdcdcd;] as she lay there, heart beating faster then she ever felt it before she couldnt help but let out a small chuckle. of all the bad things she had done in her life, maybe this was her karma catching back up to her. maybe this is what she deserved. this is what she got for being such a bitch. maybe, if she made it out of this alive she would rethink her whole existance. she let out a small sigh and felt herself getting light headed. she was trying her hardest to stay awake. she was going to try to get out of this car, she needed to breath. it felt as if something was piercing the inside of her stomach and with every breath and every move she made it felt as if she was being stabbed. she managed to adjust herself so there was no pressure against the item bulging in her ribs. her hearing was blurred but she managed to hear a small voice coming from next to the car, letting her head fall to the side she looked up to see a girl standing next to her, she looked like she had been in the accident as well. she was mouthing something, it took a second for the sound to come but ashley managed to hear her say stay awake im getting help. she heard the girl screaming for help and this made ashley's adrenaline kick in. she had too much to live for to sit here and die like this. things were getting normal with her sister and she was just now starting to form a stable relationship with adam. she closed her eyes and moved herself sideways, facing the window. she let out a scream of pain but pushed herself out of the car and flopped down on the hard, hot cement. the item that was lodged in her side fell out, it was some piece of metal from her car. she grasped onto her side and applied pressure, now laying on the cement floor she rolled on her back and stared up at the blue sky, it was turning white to her, but then again she was just in a life threatening accident. she looked at the girl and smiled im ashley she nodded at her, that was her way of saying thanks for giving two shits about me. she heard a girl in the distance saying oh my god and she decided to stay still, it took too much effort to look at herself or the girl. was she in that bad of shape? this honestly made her want to vomit.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:350px; background-color:#ffffff; border: solid #87649F 0px; padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px; padding-top: 10px; padding-bottom: 10px;] until forever comes, you'll find us chasing the sun - her pulse was going at double time, her head was pounding as she brought her hand up to try to stop the bleeding but her main concern was the girl in the car. she couldn’t find any police officer’s near her but she could hear the ambulance coming for a distance. she knew this girl needed medical attention immediately. hearing her scream she whipped her head just as she saw her fall out of her car a mental piece that was lodged in her side falling out. “oh my god” she screamed kneeling down in front of her moving her hand to press over her wound. looking down at her arm she pulled her hand away from ashleys side covered in blood and undid the sweater she had wrapped around her arm which was still bleeding. stifling a scream as she knocked her broken arm she pressed her jacket to ashleys side putting ashleys hand over top. “keep pressure on this, okay, don’t take you hand off it” tell her a tear sliding down her own face at the pain in her broken arm. she could hear the ambulance coming even closer and moved her hand to apply pressure to ashleys wound looking down at her. she couldn’t let her fall unconscious. she needed to stay awake. looking up she saw girl come towards them hearing her words she looked up at the girl. “you need to run over to the ambulance, get them to come over here, she needs medical attention immediately” tells the girl keeping a firm grip on ashleys side to try and stop the blood flow. she didn’t know how life threatening her wound was but where it was it didn’t look good. she could see the ambulance coming and she really hoped no one was dead from this accident. she couldn’t believe she was even in this situation. her car was completely totalled. her arm broken and she didn’t even know the extent of her own injuries. the pounding in her head was getting worse by the minute as was the pain in her arm but she knew she could handle the blood loss in her arm for a little longer. ashley was in the worst condition. the blood coming out of her side didn’t seem to be stopping. it was starting to seep through blanca’s jacket which she had now pressed against her side. but from what she could tell she had at least one broken rib, and a severe concussion and god know what else. she didn’t know how deep the metal had gotten lodged in her side. all she knew was that she needed to be at the hospital now. looking down at ashley she tried to put on a brave face through her own pain “just stay awake for me okay, an ambulance will be here any second” tells her. - status: finished. outfit: HERE. listening to: chasing the sun.

grace's life had never been perfect. who's was? but she had never had something horrible happen to her, nothing like this, that was for sure. she watched her friend, jeremy, slump forward. the only words that were able to come out of her mouth were slurred. she wanted to help him, move him so that he was laying down, but she wasn't too strong, nor did she have the energy for it. her bones hurt, but she was sure they weren't broken. otherwise, she would have been in excruciating pain. the worse thing was that she was shaken up and her hands were banged up from hitting the window. she didn't really know what to do with them so when the car flipped, she jump flailed them around. she was choking back sobs when she saw the scene in front of her, but she was able to hear the sound of ambulances. they must have been told to come beforehand, knowing that the high speed chase could lead to something terrible. and she was sad to say that it had. she looked at the girl and nodded before asking, "what's your name? so i can yell it out in case i get lost". she was sure she wouldn't, they were only a short distance away from her own car but she was dazed and could barely hold herself up.

"i promise i'll let someone know you guys are here, just please make sure she doesn't move too much." grace said, unsure if her advice was even true or not. she just didn't want to leave without saying something else. she felt useless except for the fact that she was getting help. before leaving, she took a mental note of the girls. both dark haired with skin a bit darker than her own. it wasn't rare, her skin was almost as pale as a ghosts'. she listened for the sound of the ambulance and headed that way, getting to the closest emergency crew in a matter of minutes. she told them of the girl that was trapped in her car and had a bleeding head. they told her they would send someone over there as fast as they could but they needed to take care of the worse cases first. she added that her friend was there too and she would have liked to know when they got to him, and they reassured her they would. she felt depressed when she walked back, she had told them about her friend and the girl she just met but they hadn't come back with her. what if they took to long and she didn't make it. no she was not about to be pessimistic. it took longer to walk back, probably because she still felt bad about not urging them to accompany her. but she could barely get her words out in the first place.

"they said they would be here soon. if they'e not here in ten minutes, i'll personally bitch at them till they do....i just need.... to get my head straight" grace said, letting out the breath she had been holding.
