i can live without you but without you i'll be miserable at best Today, Mason Schraft had some time off and was able to go outside with his baby girl. Lilly-Anna was his adorable 3 year old that he practically held on a satin pillow most days. She was, quite literally, his everything. The only problem with being a photographer was that his time was taken up by all of that rather than being able to take his Lilly out and go to the playground. As soon as he found out that he had a day off, he packed a day bag for Lilly and out they went. Mason loved having days out with Lilly, it was hard not to enjoy that little one with her big smile and Schraft-blue eyes. Her eyes were a deep blue that were just pools filled with love, innocence and happiness.
It was so hard for Mason to get mad at his daughter but he did when she acted out. For being such a young father, he spoiled her but he also made sure she had good manners. Unruly children were not allowed in the Schraft household and Lilly-Anna was no exception. So when she threw a fit for not getting something, she got in trouble and had time-out. Just before they left the house she got mad about God-knows-what and Mason had to put her in time-out which delayed them some but once she apologized to his mother for whatever she was mad about, away they went. First clothes shopping and he got her a new stuffed animal since her other one had gotten a little ruined when he thought he could wash it. Oh how mistaken he was when Mr. Frumples didn't survive his 'bath' in the washing machine. So, off to the toy store they went and Lilly settled on a bright pink teddy bear that she immediately named Mr. Kranky. Why Kranky, he'll never know.
Mason sighed and sat back against the bench as his eyes followed Lilly while she played with other kids in the playground. She was already so outgoing and silly, becoming more of her father every day. He chuckled as Lilly fell to her knees and then hop up without a problem. "Lilly, come here," He sat up to brush her legs and dress off before letting her go back to playing. Grabbing his camera, he took some pictures of her before just sitting back and admiring his beautiful little girl.

this is what makes us girls [style=font-family: loved by the king; text-transform: lowercase; font-size:15px; letter-spacing: 2px; text-align: center; background-color:#AD012E; width: 400px; color: #ffffff;] mascara running down her little bambi eyes Adelaide adored the little girl which was Lilly-Anna Schraft. There wasn’t a shred of doubt in Adie’s mind that the little girl was Mason’s child. It was that fact that made the child special to her verses any other child and it was for that reason that Adie would never turn her back on the baby girl, no matter what happened. Adie, though she kept her words an opinions to herself, was the furthest thing from a fan of Lena but that was to be expected seeing that Mason was the man she’d adored for countless years. How was she going to accept the woman who took her away from him? If asked, Adie could easily tell you that the worst day of her life was when Mason told her that Lena was pregnant and the best was when Lena walked away. It was cruel but true. But it was also the kind of cruel truth Adelaide wouldn’t just rub in her best friend’s face. No, she didn’t talk about the girl’s mother for one simple reason, she was still bitter as hell about the whole thing and any conversation about her became an internal battle of being nice and being vindictive and jealous. But Adie never once held Lilly’s birth mother against her. It was impossible to when she was every bit a Schraft as Mason’s mother had been. Besides, the girl, like her father, had won Adie over. Today was a day off for Mason and Adie made sure that she got to spend time with her best friend, the love of her life. She woke up that morning and did her Zumba work out in privacy since she was shy and quite convinced that her body didn’t move like the girls on TV before showering up and heading out. Somewhere along the line, Adie ended up near the park and she would have just passed by without so much as a second glance had a certain little girl’s squeal of happiness not drawn her attention. Her eyes searched the park and sure enough, there was Lilly. Her eyes started searching again, this time for her father and sure enough, there he was, camera at the ready. Laughing softly, Adie changed directions and headed over to the familiar face, taking a seat and smiling. ”Pretty day to be at the park, no?” She asked, grinning at him. made by kadi. do not steal [/style]

i can live without you but without you i'll be miserable at best Lilly was screeching happily every few minutes as she played with the other children. He loved hearing her giggle and hearing her screech even if the screeches got annoying every so often. But every happy moment meant he had done something right for her. His eyes followed his beautiful baby girl and then his camera lens, snapped a few pictures of her before setting his camera back in his bag. It was hard being a single dad raising a little girl, painfully hard especially when Mason was working odd days with his photography business. Of course, he could always take her with him if it was a fun shoot but for weddings and such, no way. She went and stayed with Adie or his parents.
Speaking of Adie, when she sat beside him he looked up with a big smile. "Hey there. It's a perfect day for being outside," he nodded and turned his eyes back to Lilly. She was being chased by another little girl and her giggles caught his attention. When she stopped to look up at him, her face seemed to brighten more at the sight of Adie and she came running. "Momma! Momma!" No matter how many times Mason had tried to get her to not say Momma, Lilly insisted on calling Adie momma, but he couldn't fault her because Adie was the only mother that Lilly had ever known considering Lena had stepped out of her life. Smiling as Lilly ran over in her little lavendar dress and practically climbed up Adie's legs, he chuckled as she clung to Adie. "Hi Momma!"
