spare me your judgments and spare me your dreams, because recently mine have been tearing my seams. i sit alone in this winter clarity which clouds my mind. alone in the wind and the rain you left me, its getting dark darling too dark to see and i'm on my knees and your faith in shreds, its seems. the water creeps to my chest. plant your hope with good seeds, don't cover yourself with thistle and weeds. ----------------------------------------------------------------------

i re-wrote this a million times so i hope its good. there four hundred and thirty one words and she is wearing this. this is open for anyone.
[/style]grace closed the laptop, and went over to the drawer that had her work clothes in it. she was covering for some other worker because she needed the money and… well that was pretty much it. she put on her work bathing suit, a one piece that was supposed to be different than a regular bathing suit. she didn't know if they did it just to mess with them or because it was true but gracie wasn't about to find out. being a lifeguard was the best job she could find around miami and she wasn't about to lose it. she put some clothes on top of that then put her hair into a tight ponytail. after she finished getting ready, she took the short walk to the beach. her parents had decided to get a home near the beach so if they ever wanted to go, they wouldn't have to drive and have to deal with finding a parking spot. grace had never been against it, and she was even less against it now that she actually worked there. it was a thursday so there weren't many kids at the beach. that was a plus for gracie, most of the victims were kids horsing around, or teenagers. it seemed that none seemed to be around.
they usually came around five, once school let out. until then, grace got to relax a little bit. an hour later, there had been a few close calls but everything was calm. a couple of hours passed, and the beach started filling up. which meant grace had to keep a closer eye on things. she grabbed the binoculars that they gave all of the lifeguards, and an hour later, she was in the same spot, looking around to see if anything was wrong. a tap on her shoulder was the only thing that snapped her out of it. she turned around and saw one of the other workers telling her that it was time for her break. she looked at her watch, and quickly got up. she had almost forgotten about her break. she put on her shorts and headed to the beach bar, she needed a drink. now she technically wasn't supposed to drink on the job but a little pina colada wouldn't do any harm. she ordered one as well as some water to kind of even things out. she thought about getting some food but she wasn't up for it right now. grace would probably regret it later but right now all she wanted was a drink and to enjoy her break.
