the hot water was already getting ready in the coffee pot that was always complimentary in a hotel room. of course it wasn't the same as brewing it on a stove top, but water was water. it all heated the same. the real special part of his concoction was the tea itself. he made it all by hand, all the tea leaves he used, everything. and he always had an extra stash in his suitcase when he went on business trips. who wouldn't as a tea shop owner? he hopped over to them and grabbed two, and two mugs that he thought he'd use for the special occasion of seeing tilly again. they matched, they were nothing romantic, but who could trust hotel mugs? he liked having his own. he walked over to the counter where the water was brewing and set down all of the things he had grabbed from his suitcase. he was really excited, about as excited as a four year old was when they got their favorite toy for christmas. why shouldn't he be? he was going to see her. sometimes she was so special to him, he couldn't even think of her name. it would put him in too much of a bad mood. he jumped back on his bed and sighed, a huge grin forming across his face.
then, there was a knock on the door. he fell off his bed, stumbled to get up, ran, stumbled again, and finally got to the door. his smile was wide when he opened it, only to find a guest in the hotel who had the wrong room. and they didn't speak english. "dis five nine two?" they asked over and over again like a broken record. rod started waving his hands around trying to get him to stop. "no no no!" he said, his voice getting louder after repeating no so many times. "you're at five two four!" but the guest didn't seem to get it, they started to ask again. "no!" he practically yelled, "you're at five two..." he stopped when he saw the red hair that made his heart jump. "tilly!" he said with excitement and embarrassment in his voice. "this man was lost and..." he didn't no how to describe what was going on. as long as she didn't think he was crazy even though he is that was all he cared about. | [atrb=width,140] words ,

five two four, five two four. the number of his number replayed itself over and over again in her head. she refused to forget where she was to go. it was crucial that she made it there in a timely manner. she peaked at the array of doors that each had different numbers showing the world which was which and who was in each room. five two seven. five two six. five two five. ah, finally. wait. rodney was out talking to some gentleman who appeared to be slightly dazed or simply utterly confused. well, this definitely put a pause on the hug she was longing for. but still, her smile remained on her face as her felt a tingling sensation cross over her skin. she was ecstatic! "roo!" she cried out when he said tilly. she did not know how to acknowledge the person who was accompanying them as well, so she simply flashed a bright smile in his direction showing that she did know he was there. honestly, she did not care much to even be polite at this point. she was being reunited with rodney! that was crazy. her ears caught her favorite brunette speaking to her, explaining who he was slightly before her trailed off. glancing over at him, she let her eyes become familiar with the few changes she would spot in him. his hair was little longer, the clothes he was wearing she could not remember. "do you know where he’s trying to get to?" she questioned. tilly had no problem escorting him to his correct whereabouts if that was what it came to. "we can take him if he needs us to," she added as she ran her fingers through her hair and then placed her hands at her sides again.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style, background-color: #423c42;,true][cs=2] & YOU'RE NOT EVEN HUMAN ` YOU'RE JUST A LOVELY IDEA OF ONE WHO I ACCIDENTALLY LOVED AND GAVE EVERYTHING TO BECOME THE GIRL ON THE PIANO BENCH SINGING ALL OF HER TEARS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - away | [atrb=width,240] rodney's smile was the brightest that he could muster up. he'd been away from tilly for far too long. and he had to admit, she was someone who could light up a room, light up his life. she was the fiery red head that made his heart soar. and he couldn't believe that they were being reunited. so when she asked where he was going, and she didn't mind escorting him, his heart sank. he didn't want to share her for a moment, even if she did have a boyfriend. he grabbed her hand and pulled her into the room, not really giving her an option of bringing that guy to his room or not. she was just too precious to rodney to even share. that was how he felt anyway. he dragged her into the room and made sure that she couldn't make a quick escape out. he didn't want that at all. he looked at the man and said really quickly, "i'm sorry, we can't help you," and shut the door. yes, some people would deem that rude, but he needed this time with tilly. he needed to be with his best friend to reminisce, and just all around be around each other.
he looked at her and his smile just grew into the biggest grin that he could ever even imagine. just one look at her made him giddy inside, like a school girl... well boy. he just wanted to jump for joy and hug and kiss her, although he couldn't do the latter because of the in-the-way boyfriend. he grabbed her and pulled her into a bone-crushing hug. the kind that make it so you can't really breathe, but, hopefully, she enjoyed it because she could be with him. at least that's how he felt about her. he didn't care about anything else in the world but reacquainting himself with his best friend. and even though he couldn't act like her boyfriend, like he wanted to so badly, he still was happy to be with her and be around her. "so," he started, letting her go from his hug, "i have started the tea for you, because i knew that you couldn't wait that long." he gave her a small smile. "and all i have to do is put in the flavoring. and you'll be ready. and by starting the tea, i meant i made the hot water." he gave her another goofy smile and went off to concoct his tea.
he spent a few minutes adding a dash of this and a dash of that and trying to get it to the perfect stature that tilly always expected from him. "and voila!" he said, taking the mugs over to her and keeping one for himself. he took a huge gulp of it and smiled. it was a little hot, but he drank tea so much that the heat didn't really phase him anymore. "it might be a bit hot," he said, "since it's tea." stating the obvious was part of his charm. he enjoyed making people smile, and even though he didn't think he was really good at it, he didn't mind making a fool of himself just so that another person would smiled. and if he could get tilly to smile, he would be extremely happy. | [atrb=width,140] words ,
