DREAM [/style] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #6d6d6d;] [style=padding: 10px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; height: 475px; overflow: auto; color: #1e1e1e;]Summer's stomach grumbled, screaming at her to fill it and to do so quickly. Checking the time on her phone she realized she was actually running on time for once and gave herself a little smile in the mirror. An early Summer was a rare Summer. The promise of good food, good drinks and good company was enough to get her motivated though. She'd decided to do something a little more mature that evening and go out for dinner with a friend. It was different from her usual nights of drinking till she was sick or dancing till her legs went numb but she still planned on downing a couple of cocktails. She knew Brooke would too which made her even more excited to see the pretty girl.
Giving her outfit a once over, she gave herself approval, scooped up her bag and headed out the door. Sure, she was meant to be studying for a test that night but she'd much rather have a girls night. Besides, she hadn't seen Brooke in quite some time and she was more than eager to see her. No matter where they were, Summer and Brooke fed off each others energy, always leading each other into silly situations that they hardly ever remembered the next morning. After the last four nights of clubbing she'd endured, Summer was in desperate need of a decent meal and something a little quieter than thudding base and dance music.
The drive to the restaurant was short one and she was there in no time. Slamming the car door shut she waltzed through the front doors and into the busy venue, eyes scanning the crowd for Brooke's familiar dark head. Nowhere to be seen, Summer smiled at the waiter who showed her to an empty table and left her with two menus. While she waited she may as well have some fun with the cute young guy, flirting her way through their menial conversation regarding which colleges they attended and who she was meeting tonight. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: f9f9f9; border: #d96a70 solid 10px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;]cos baby you're a firework Brooke was still recovering from the whole ‘vegas’ fiasco. She hadn’t actually been out of the apartment other than to see her bestie or for work since, and when Summer asked her, she knew that she just had to go, Brooke was never someone who was going to let her friends down. If her friends ever called her to go out, she would be there. Whether it was a party or just hanging out, she loved to be around her friends and life was too short to sit inside, plus right now she needed to do everything she could to make her feel better, and friends always did that for her and vice versa, she was always around for her friends if they needed her. Brooke was lucky to have a lot of friends around her, they were definitely like her family, and especially her best friend Chelsea, she had no idea what she would do without her friends if she was honest, luckily she wasn’t the type of person that would do things to lose friends. She may be a bit of a bitch at times but that was usually for a good reason, so it didn’t really matter to her what people thought of her in those situations, and plus she didn’t care either. It wasn’t like she bothered about the opinions of what other people thought of her, she just didn’t like it when people did things to upset her friends, or talked bad about them or her family. That was not acceptable.
Brooke jumped into the shower quickly and then went to choose an outfit, this was the bit that she always found difficult, mainly because she had so many clothes to choose from, which she definitely did not see as a bad thing at all, she saw it as a good thing and her wardrobe was growing all the time because she seemed to have an addiction to buying clothes. At least she didn’t spend her father’s money, it was all her own money. Yes she had to help her brother pay the rent, but she still had money for that usually. She was thinking more and more of getting her own place, but then she knew Chelsea was wanting to do that too, she just thought it would be so fun if the two of them got an apartment together. But of course she was married now, not that it was an issue. Brooke just found it odd that she was married yet not living with her husband, even if she didn’t want the marriage, maybe it would be better to work on it? She shook her head and laughed at the idea. No, Sam was her friend, and that was all he was. Just a friend.
She finally found an outfit and headed out. Luckily her brother had the day off so he had taken Sophia out, it meant that she didn’t have to worry about leaving the house, the little girl was so attached to her and it made her sad whenever she would get upset when she left. She decided to drive to the restaurant, mainly because she was just plain lazy, it was only a twenty minute walk. she parked her car near the restaurant and then walked in, telling the hostess that she was meeting a friend. She waved at Summer and made her way over, giving the girl a quick hug. Hey girl, looking good! she commented so what’s new? I haven’t seen you in a while she pouted it’s been too long she said still with a pouty face. She then took a moment to look at the menu, but also was ready to her friends response.

[style=font-family: times; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform: lowercase; color: #989898; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;] 670 WORDS FOR BROOKE/KAYLAOUTFIT HERE. stole my mums laptop so i could get you a reply ;) DREAM [/style] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #6d6d6d;] [style=padding: 10px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; height: 475px; overflow: auto; color: #1e1e1e;]Summer had never really waited for anyone before. Usually she was the one who kept people waiting, never on purpose, she was just horribly unreliable. Honestly she didn’t know what people whined about as it really wasn’t that bad. She was enjoying herself all on her lonesome,. There were plenty of people to watch and she’d already made a game out of it. Trying to figure out of it was their first date, their mistress of their wife, they’re daughter or some hot young thing they were paying for the evening. She probably looked like a total creep staring at everyone but she really didn’t care. People were too interesting to ignore. Who needed reality television when you could just watch what was going on around you? Combine that with the fact she had a cute waiter to flirt with and Summer was set. She’d even forgotten that she was waiting for her friend to arrive.
Sipping on the glass of water placed on her table, she kept her eyes focused on a couple towards the back of the restaurant, getting a little jealous that they already had their food. As thin as she was, Summer was constantly hungry. She’d rather greasy fast food than fine dining but she was excited to have a classy girls night out. Any extra calories she ate usually got burnt off during a night out of partying, sex or hitting the beach the next day. Her attention was shifted when she heard the familiar voice of Brookella. Suddenly she remembered why she was here in the first place and a wave of relief gushed over her as she set eyes on the adorable brunette. ”Awee thankyou beautiful” Summer gushed with a warm smile, ”You’re looking pretty hot yourself”. It was true, Brooke always looked amazingly beautiful.
”Gosh I know, right?” Summer exclaimed, being her usually loud self. If she didn’t seem someone for a day or two she thought it was a lifetime though. She really hadn’t seen Brooke in awhile though and Sum really missed her. They usually had a blast together whether it was hitting the clubs or just shopping during the day. ”I’m excited to see you though1 I even got here early. Miracle. I know’ she laughed, running a hand through her locks. Summer thought for a moment. Her life was always busy but it never really changed. School, partying, guys and then doing it all over again. She found it fun but retelling it often seemed boring and as if she lived life without a purpose. ”No real news about me sadly, same old same old” she shrugged, racking her brain for anything. Usually she wasn’t one for gossip. It was juvenile and only caused drama. Drama was something she always avoided. ”I did hear a hilarious story today from one of my friends’ she laughed, thinking about the predicament her good friend Sam had gotten himself into. Married in Vegas? It was like a movie or something. It wasn’t really gossip though just a funny story to tell people about. Summer adored Sam with all of her heart, he was like her brother but he was so much more mature than her. It was only natural that she got a little enjoyment out of him being the one to mess up a little. Before she had a chance to continue the waiter was back to take their orders and not a moment too soon. ”Cosmos. Two” she held up two fingers ordering drinks for the both of them, ”And I’ll have the fish with extra fries and salad” she licked her lips. Summer could have eaten double that but she thought she’d start off with a lady like portion. Waiting for Brooke to order and the waiter to leave she continued on with her stories assuming Broke would get a good laugh out of it. ”You know my friend Sam, right?” she began, making sure Brooke knew who she was talking about, ”You’ll never believe what he did!”.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: f9f9f9; border: #d96a70 solid 10px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;]cos baby you're a firework Brooke smiled at her friend. She knew she always looked good but she did like hearing it. Whenever someone told her she couldn’t help but smile. This was at least making her feel better following the recent events and drama in her life, drama was what she liked to avoid but sadly that was not always the case since her brothers girlfriend was a freak who she hated, she tried not to be around whenever she was because she never had anything good to say about her. Luckily though she never came around too often so it worked out perfectly for her. Thanks babe she smiled. I know right? okay so she was being a little bit cocky but whatever, she looked good and it was one of the only things that was making her feel better right now apart from being with a friend, so she was going to drag it out as long as she could and make herself feel better each time hopefully, though as long as she had her friends she would be okay. Brooke had amazing friends and she knew that even if they knew, which she only told Chels and only planned on having her know, she knew they would be supportive.
You were that excited you got here early? That’s not like you Summ she teased. She knew Summer wasn’t the type of girl to be on time, and neither was she, but between the two of them they had both gotten there in good time. You must have really missed me. Brooke kept boasting because it was making her feel better, and she knew the comebacks, even if it was playful banter would still make her feel better and keep on doing so until she couldn’t actually take it anymore and she burst, but she didn’t know whether that would happen. She didn’t really want it to happen but whatever. awhhhh she pouted when her friend said she had no news. Brooke wasn’t big on gossiping but she did like to know what her friends had been up to. When Summer said she had heard a hilarious story she smiled. Okay she could really do with a laugh, maybe it was something better than getting married in Vegas so she could feel better that she wasn’t the only one who screwed her life up. No, she didn’t get kicks off other peoples misery but she really just wanted to turn back time. She couldn’t get it out of her mind and that was bugging her even more.
oh do tell, I could really use a laugh right now she smiled. Well Summer ordered her drink for her, she hadn’t drunk since Vegas, and that had only been a few days ago but it felt like a while since she had made the decision not to. She wasn’t a drunk, Brooke just liked to have fun. I’ll have the steak with the pepper sauce, and a side of fries, medium well done please she said. Steak, a big juicy steak was just what she needed to make her feel better. She then mentioned Sam, oh no, the story was about him.....what had he done now? Unless she was talking about Vegas. Did she go along with not knowing or did she say she knew. She stayed quiet for a few seconds and then spoke up. She decided to see if she was talking about Vegas, then she would talk. Yeah she nodded I know him really well she added. What did he do? she asked her. She was trying not to show how she was really feeling, she didn’t want people to know about Vegas, it was embarrassing to say the least.

It wasn’t really a bad trait or something that seemed to be intentional it was just this undying confidence. You saw a lot of girls in Miami with it but none of them pulled it off with as much style. Summer was an overly confident girl though in different ways. She liked to look nice but was aware that she wasn’t anything special so made up for it with her full on personality. Summer wouldn’t hold it against Brooke, it was one of the many things about her that she loved. She didn’t want boring friends who were too concerned pleasing other people rather than being themselves and having fun. It was the quirks that made everyone special.
”Oh yeah, totally babes. My heart’s just been aching for you” Summer replied sarcastically with a smile. She loved that they could be absolute idiots around each other, saying or doing whatever they wanted without the other caring. Truth was, she had missed hanging out with Broke. She loved al of her friends till the death and put them before anything else in life. ”I see time hasn’t made you any less cocky” she teased, poking her tongue out at her like an idiot. Brooke was cocky, Summer was an immature mess. No wonder they ended up as friends. ”I know, I’m totally boring, right?” she whined, shaking her head in dismay, ”What else am I meant to do though? Get a hobby other than partying? I hardly look like the arts n craft kind of girl” she reasoned with yet another laugh. ”Next time I cause some trouble, I promise you full details though. I’ll send out a newsletter or something”.
At least she could retell someone elses story. It may not have been her own but it was definitely an interesting dinner conversation. Sam would probably kill her for sharing but he should have known better than to tell her. Summer loved a good story and she knew Brooke did too. ”Oh good” Summer began, glad she didn’t have to explain exactly who Sam was and what he was like. She loved the way people knew each other in this town. Before she got a chance to continue their drinks were bought over and Summer reached for hers greedily. Remembering she was in a classy establishment and not a club she took a light sip of it enjoying the explosion of vodka and cranberries. ’Okay, okay back to my story” she held her hand up, ”You will never guess what my boy Sammy went and did” she shook her head in disbelief, ”He want and got married in Vegas!” she exclaimed, the climax of her story too good to drag on. ”Isn’t that fucking crazy? It’s like a movie or something. I can’t believe he of all people did it. And without me there might I add” she went on, sipping on her drink again. It may have seemed like a big deal but Summer thought it was pretty cool. Everyone needed to do something crazy. ”Crazy huh? That must have been some party. I’m kind of jealous I wasn’t there” she finished.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: f9f9f9; border: #d96a70 solid 10px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;]cos baby you're a firework brooke couldn’t help but smile at Summer’s response. She loved the sarcasm in her voice. While some people would have hated it, she found it so funny. Summer just brought out a childish side of her which she didn’t show with others and she kinda loved it, but since she wasn’t usually immature she kind of kept it secret, she didn’t want people to think that she was immature, she wanted to be an actress, and to be an actress, she wanted to be taken seriously. If people thought she was immature, who would take her seriously? She smiled again and blew a kiss at her friend from across the table. I’m yours for the night baby she winked at her, trying to be all serious and sultry. She couldn’t help it though and burst into laughter. She noticed people around them were staring but so what, she was having a laugh. Okay so she wanted to be taken seriously but she also liked to have fun, just because she wanted that didn’t mean she couldn’t have fun and joke around did it? She would still get her dream, she would make sure of it, because she wasn’t afraid to fight to the top.
Oh you love my cockiness Brooke brushed it off completely. Everyone does. she grinned. Brooke nodded in agreement Oh yeah, so boring she said and rolled her eyes playfully. Next time we go out we need to go stir some shit up she told her. Make it a date, I won’t take no for an answer she said with a smile. Arts and crafts are for like, goodie goodies she said to her with a nod. and I’ll probably be there next time you cause trouble, because I probably did it too and like I said, we have a date for trouble! she laughed and nudged her with her foot. She did enjoy their playful banter. It was safe to say that Brooke loved her friends, if she didn’t have her friends around her; she knew that she’d be such a different person. Maybe not a very nice one to be around. Well she didn’t have to worry about that at least because she did have friends, friends that mattered very much to her. She was so grateful to that and they had been there whenever she’d needed them most, and vice versa. She was so lucky to have such great friends.
Okay, she was listening now, what did Sam do? Oh yeah she pretty much already knew if it was what she was thinking it was, she waited for her to tell her and her eyes widened. Okay who was it that was telling everyone? She had been right jerk she muttered under her breathe. Brooke looked down and took a sip of her drink, not making eye contact with her friend, knowing that if she did then Summer would totally figure out something was up. Yeah yeah, that’s real crazy... she said still sipping on her drink. Okay so she couldn’t drink it that fast, it was going to go straight to her head. Then Summer mentioned about how she wanted to have been there....oh fuck, she was going to have to tell her Brooke sighed and took a breathe. I was there... she admitted.
