dare you to let me be your one and only [atrb=border,0,true] It was probably an odd sight seeing a fox chasing the receding waves of the ocean, just to retreat as quickly as he could as they chased him back, yet, here on the Miami beach, this was the site Moriah had the enjoyment of watching. It was rare that the young woman went anywhere without her brother or another familiar face these days, especially after dark. Again, in the second odd spectacle of the day, here she was, standing along side the ocean, water lapping at her ankles, covering her feel with sand every time it shifted. Moriah was standing there to make sure her fox didn’t get carried away by the water and also to see how deep the ocean would bury her.
As a lady walked by with her yappy Chihuahua, Todd, the Fennec Fox who was no bigger, ruffled his fur, making himself as big as he could, barking his warning. Todd was friendly but he didn’t like being threatened so he returned the threat with his warning gesture. Moriah laughed, squatting down and snapping her fingers, bringing the agile fox to her to pet his ears. ”Oh calm down you.” She teased, playing with his oversized ears.
Todd was enjoying the petting and got caught off guard by the water coming back up. Next thing he knew, he was submerged and being carried off to sea. He barked his plea, paddled his little legs and whimpered. Moriah scooped him out before he could go too far and pulled the frightened, shaking fox to her chest. Moriah carried the fox back to a grass patch. Her shirt was soaked from carrying the fox but she coddled him, sitting in the sun to help him calm and help them both dry.
Ah, the sun felt good. So did the lazy day she had ahead of her.

Trevor usually didn't have many days off, he loved his work, so he didn't try to get many days off. Why not save them up and go on a vacation at some point? Okay, so that never really happened anyway. He loved his work. Training orcas for SeaWorld was wonderful. But today he had been given time off, so he was taking it. Trev was pretty addicted to the water, so he headed down to the beach. It was nice so why not go swimming?
As usual, there were the random groups of people along the beach. It was normal for it to be a pretty populated spot. He hadn't decided to bring Mesi for that reason, Mesi was his fishing cat. She loved the beach, but not so much the big dogs who seemed to be around all the time. But maybe another day he would bring her down so she could enjoy some time chasing after fish. His blue-green gaze flickered along the beach and landed on a sight that really was about as uncommon as his swimming cat. That sight would be a woman sitting with a Fennec Fox, he knew animals pretty well, so he was certain that was what it was. So he headed over to her, why not? He loved meeting people anyway, and there would already be something to talk about.
Trev really didn't think that this could be awkward in anyway, it was pretty normal to get randomly approached by strangers out on the beach.. Well, maybe for him it was because people recognized him, he was the lead traininer for the orcas, so he got to be in front of crowds and tourists a lot. "Hello there, that's a pretty unique pet you have there." He mused, stopping easily a few feet from her. He was pretty good about keeping a comfortable distance until he was certain the other person wouldn't freak out. You generally couldn't be all hyper and crazy around strangers, or they would think you were a freak. So when first meeting people, he did his best to act like a normal person.. Even if some of the people might have seen his shows, then they would know he was a bit of a spazz..
