People were so stupid and just did not listen. No, he was not being too harsh, he was being truthful. If he wasn’t around then people could be seriously hurt or injured, maybe even worse. He didn’t want that happening on his watch because it would mean him being out of a job and he needed both jobs. He didn’t particularly like his bartending job at times but it brought in the money so in that case it was fine as far as he was concerned. Now he was going back home to chill for a couple of hours before he had to go to work again. He was going to just do nothing in that time, well maybe watch TV, play video games and have something to eat, just the normal stuff, but he wasn’t going to do anything that used any real brain cells because he just couldn’t be bothered. He got in his car and drove home. He didn’t care if people told him he could walk, he was doing what he wanted to do, usually he would care but he was kind of in a bad mood and even though it didn’t happen very often, when it did, people who didn’t know him were best to stay away from him.
He hoped that Fauna would be home, she always knew how to cheer him up when he felt bad. Often he felt okay after lifeguarding, but today he’d had to deal with not one but two young children going into the sea without parental supervision. Did they not see that the red flag was out? Were they stupid? Ugh...he didn’t want to think about it or else he would just get in even more of a bad mood than he was now. He needed to calm down and he knew Fauna would do that, he drove carefully along the road, he needed to concentrate now, as appose to thinking about how shitty work had been, he did not need to make his day any worse than it had been. He was close to calling in sick for his other job since he just did not feel like he could be bothered. They probably wouldn’t even care since he never usually called in sick, the thought was becoming more and more appealing. There he went again, he had to keep focused. Finally he pulled up at home and parked the car, getting out of it and locked it he went up to the apartment.
He smiled when he saw Fauna on the couch and smiled, sitting down next to her I am so glad you are home he smiled at her My day hasn’t been that great he said you wouldn’t believe that parents could be so irrisponsible he sighed. wow I sound so cool right now, but I really don’t care. You know, I think we should just chill tonight, I am gonna call in sick from work he told her. I just can’t be bothered he said tilting his head back and sighing. I’m gonna go change he said getting up to go into his room and change into sweats. He came back out smiling at her So, are we gonna chill, maybe watch a movie, order take out? he grinned.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] oh miss fauna. she hated waitressing. the only thing that could pull her through a double at work was one aj greene. he was the light of her life right now, someone she could just gush about non-stop and everything would be okay. and they worked together. her heart skipped a beat every time she thought about it. she kept her composure together as she kicked through the door of the apartment that she lived in with her best friend. the place was a little untidy, but it wasn't nothing too disastrous. it looked like a place that two young adults lived, which was exactly what was going on. they had a tv, a nice couch, nothing too expensive though, and a little coffee table when you first walked in. and then there were two bedrooms and a kitchen. it wasn't extravagant, since both parties were holding down two jobs to pay off rent and all utilities. it was a lot for fauna, since she didn't have any support behind her in case her finances failed. though scott insisted that he help out when fauna hit a rough spot. she denied him numerous times. she knew that scott had his family back home to help him, but she didn't have that. and she wished she did...
the red haired girl went to her room and stripped off the white shirt and black pants that were required for all of the servers. she put on a pajama shirt that didn't exactly come all the way down to her waist and sweatpants she had stolen from an ex. it wasn't that she was attached to them because of the ex, but she enjoyed baggy clothing. she would never be caught dead buying guys clothes, but she was happy to take guy's clothes any day! the university of miami sweats fit perfectly on her hips. and the t-shirt showed just a little skin when she was standing up. she wasn't going to let good t-shirts go to waist! so she used smaller shirts for pajamas, making a nice fit when she was just ready to lounge around the house. she undid the high ponytail on her head and fluffed her hair out, which included lots of shaking and flipping her hair lots of times. and for the final touch, she made a nice, messy bun on the back of her head. she didn't care how she looked and she knew that scott didn't care, so she just sat on the couch lounging.
she watched as he walked through the door, babbled on about a bunch of stuff, and then leave. she was slightly confused, since he didn't give her a chance to talk, and she was pretty sure he didn't find a second to breathe either. but then he came back out and asked if chilling and watching a movie and ordering take out was a good idea. her face lit up. "you read my mind!" she said, her voice laced with excitement. "i have been craving chinese food for so long. please can we do that?" she said, her childish voice coming out. she loved her best friend, since she could just be childish and fun around him and he didn't care. as long as they were together they were both very happy and very content. "and what would you say to a chick flick?" she asked hopefully. she was in the mood for a good cry, and the notebook always made her cry buckets and buckets of tears. after a long day of waitressing, there was nothing she wanted more than chinese food and the notebook to soothe her aches and pains with tears, as weird as that sounded.

Well at least he was feeling a little better, which was what friends did though right? He was lucky to have such good friends if he was honest. He would never be able to wish for better friends because he knew he has the best friends, that was corny and whatever but he was just thinking it, he would never come right out and say it, that was just too weird, he would just make gestures so his friends knew how much he liked them and appreciated them. He was always doing things like that. Some girls and guys wouldn’t see him as a typical guy, because he wasn’t interested in going out and getting drunk every night and he didn’t seek out girls to sleep with. If that was what the typical male was like then he was embarrassed to be a male. He brushed the thoughts out of his head and moved his attention back to his friend and smiled once again. He really did just want to chill and calling in sick wouldn’t hurt, he would just fake being ill. No one would know any different, it wasn’t like they were really short staffed. Sorry for the rant he said just you know how work gets me sometimes. At times it did get him annoyed, but never like this, and he was still trying to shake off his bad mood.
I’ll just call in sick at work he smiled and rung the number he had in his phone for work, and put on his best impression of being sick. Sadly it wasn’t that great since he hasn’t done it very much, in fact he didn’t think that he had ever personally ‘pulled a sickie’ as they said, but now, here he was doing just that, since he was far too fed up to do anything but chill out with his best friend. He just couldn’t deal with the hassle of going to work and getting annoyed at the drunks he would have to serve, just the thought of it made him want to go into another rant that was completely unnecessary. He knew it wasn’t going to make a difference, ranting to people like that, but it sure made him feel better and that was all that mattered right now. He hung up and smiled at her Well that was easy....they bought it and said they didn’t need me today anyway. He had kind of hoped that they would have needed him because he wanted to be an inconvenience. He hadn’t felt like this in a really long time and he didn’t know why. Maybe he just needed time off from work completely, a vacation. Though who would he go with? He thought it would be kind of weird to go with Fauna, just the two of them...even if they were only just friends.
Well since Chinese is my favourite food, I say hell yeah he said to her. You got the number? [/b][/color] he asked her. She then mentioned a chick flick and pulled a face errr he started it depends what chick flick he said honestly. Secretly he did kind of like some of them. But if he was going to be the ‘typical male’ he needed to act like he didn’t want to watch them. You know what though? For you I will watch whatever you want he smiled and let out a long sigh. I was thinking that I need a vacation, you know? he said to her. Well it was worth suggesting. They didn’t have to do it We could go somewhere, or i’ll just take time off. I just feel that I have been working waaayyy too hard these past few weeks and I think that is where my bad mood came from. [/div] [/style] TAG FAUNA; WORDS 638; NOTES <3; ♔ [/style][/center]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] fauna laughed as scott tried to fake being sick. he wasn't very good at it. now fauna, she was a pro. she could get the cough and the runny nose down like it was actually happening. it was actually scary how good she was at faking being sick. she didn't know how she acquired a knack for it. probably all those times she called herself out sick in high school. her mom would never, so she pretended to be her mom and voila, a get out of the day free card when she was feeling especially anxious. which wasn't very often thankfully. but it was nice to be able to relax from a stressful day at school. see, fauna wasn't the most popular in high school. she got picked on a lot, and she was that anti-social girl. the only friend being scott. but those were back in the day. back when times were much simpler and she didn't have to hold down two jobs in order to stay alive and have a place to stay. she always thanked him for helping her out, but there was only so many times that she could thank him before she sounded like a broken record.
fauna whipped out her phone and looked through the contacts. it wasn't in her phone, which most people would wonder why it was, but she was a very quirky girl. she liked her fast food to be on speed dial if she could help it. and even though she was small, she ate like a trucker who hadn't eaten in three days. she was extremely thankful for her fast metabolism. she shook her head, and then got up and leaped over the couch into the kitchen to grab the menu. "you know my order. as long as it has some crab ragoon i'll be happy!" she said throwing the menu at him so he could look at it if he wanted to. she flopped herself back onto the couch and looked back at him.
she smiled sheepishly at him. "i want to watch the notebook! oh please scottie? please please please?" she got on her knees and clasped her hands together, begging him a true form. "i really just want to cry. i don't know why, and i don't want to cry in a bad way. and i know this movie makes me cry a lot because it's just so cute and it's sweet and please please pleaaaase scottie?" after her amount of talking was finished, she let the puppy dog eyes and pout set in. she was really just in the mood for a nice chick flick. was that too much to ask for? of course not. it was nice just to be herself again. she felt like she put on an act when she went to work, having to be happy and pleasant all the time while waitressing and having to actually push out of her comfort shell to be a lifeguard. but when she was home, she could be happy, sad, silly, angry, whatever, and scott would be there to tell her when she was being an idiot and when she was completely in the right and she had a reason to cry. she loved living with her best friend. and she hoped that she could stay friends with him forever, since they were just so close to each other.

Guess i’m your bitch now he grinned at her with a playful smile. He went into another room ro order the Chinese food then came back in, he didn’t know why he always did what she asked him. He just saw it as being a good person and being nice and approachable, some people may have seen it as being a pushover but he didn’t really want people to see it like that. However, that was just how he was. It was just the kind of person he was. He was kind and considerate as well as caring. He didn’t really have a bad word to say about people, it seemed to be too hard for him to be mean to people, but that was just how he was. Could he really help it if he liked to please people? No he really couldn’t, it was like it was second nature to him, and he had grown up that way...his family had dug it into him to be polite and gentlemanly and he hadn’t ever shaken it off. His family had a big influence on him growing up and he always believed what they had told him was right, and he had turned out pretty well so he hadn’t any reason to believe that they had been wrong with what they had told him and how they raised him.
He came back in and she was talking about wanting to watch the notebook. He sighed; well he was likely to give in wasn’t he? How could he resist. He hated that movie but somehow it always managed to make him cry, that was one of the reasons why he did not like to watch it, because it didn’t exactly make him feel masculine but then again he did have a female roommate, female best friend.....he needed some male influence every once in a while which was why he was glad that he had Sam around for that. He had too much female influence in his life and he liked to hang out with the boys once in a while. He wasn’t the type to go out and get really drunk, but everyone needed to go out and do that once in a while right? He smiled at the thought then was brought back to reality...sorry what? he said. oh right, the notebook he said with a nod. the notebook, the bain of his life he said rolling his eyes. Okay well that was an exaggeration but he didn’t like it yet he always gave in. Maybe he secretly did like it.
He smiled slightly, he was gonna go with pretending that she wouldn’t get her own way this time. really? Do we have to? he asked her and sighed. He would tease her for a while and then finally agree, just so that he wouldn’t appear to be the typical pushover that he actually was. Although it had been his mom who always said that a lady should get her own way....depending on what that was. You know I hate that movie he said yet I usually always end up crying at the end of it he thought to himself. He then pretended to think for a while what about an action movie? he suggested to her. Okay so he couldn’t go along with it anymore, he had to give in. fiiine we can watch it. Go and get it, put it on and i’ll get some drinks he said with a small smile. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] fauna didn't like that he was fighting with her. she knew that it wasn't real fighting. it was him trying to act like he was the man of the house and trying to get a choice in the matter. bot of them knew that he had none. it was always fauna's way. it always would be. she cringed when he asked if they could watch an action movie. "ew! i hate action movies!" she said. some were alright, but most of them were boring and made her want to, she didn't know how to even put it into words. she just really didn't like them. that was all. and then he said yes and she jumped off the couch in excitement. "thank you thank you thank you!" and then she ran off to her room to go get it.
she shuffled through her room, opening up every drawer and looking under her bed and looking everywhere. she sighed and put her hands on her hips. "where is it?" she mumbled to herself. she moved all the clothes and anything else she could think of. then she found the dvd box. "ah ha!" she said out loud. and then she opened it and found out that the dvd wasn't in there. "that's not good..." she said quietly, again. then an idea popped into her head. it was probably in her dvd player in her room. she turned it on and pushed the button. there it was in all it's glory. "i found it for real this time!" she shouted, putting it into the box. she grabbed a pillow, a blanket, and a box of tissues before leaving her room and picking a spot on the couch. she left enough room for scott, even though by the end of the movie she'd probably be over there next to him holding onto him while she cried her eyes out, telling him how much she wished she had a love like theirs, and then going into another crying session about all their past relationships.
she opened up the box and placed it on the table and crawled over the table to the tv. she opened up the dvd tray and put the disc inside of it. she crawled back over to the couch, picked up the remote from the table and sat there, a smile spread across her face and an excited look in her eyes. "are you gonna sit down or just stand there like a lame-o?" she asked. when she was excited, she was pretty much a whole new fauna. not many people got to see this side of her. she was someone else when she was happy or sad or anything. kind of like multiple personalities, but not really. she smiled at him as she waited for him to move over to the couch so that they could start the movie. she placed the pillow behind her head and covered herself in the blanket. "you can even share my blanket if you want," she said, her smile getting brighter.

Well he knew that, but he always decided to challenge. Thought I would get that reaction he said to her at least I tried he smiled at her. it couldn’t have hurt, him trying right? But he knew she would get her own way anyway. He watched her jump up in excitement and smiled. Well at least she was happy. That was something right? You owe me though, how about we watch an action movie next time? he said. Okay so he wasn’t expecting her to say yes, but he couldn’t actually count the number of times that he’d had to sit through the notebook. Wasn’t it her turn to do the same for him? No, he wasn’t complaining, he couldn’t say no to her, it wasn’t like he had spoken up though about it, that would have been kind of mean in his opinion. He liked to keep her happy, that was all, because he knew what girls could be like when they got in moods. He didn’t really want to deal with that, plus, was it really worth arguing about? It was just a movie and not something life threatening.
He heard her grumbling and mumbling about not being able to find it. He kinda hoped that she wouldn’t. The Notebook was one of those movies he just didn’t like, but he watched it for her. She could choose any other movie and he would be happy, he would be able to deal with it. The notebook was just too cheesy and girlie though, he didn’t know any guy who would willingly watch it for the fun of it, unless they were gay. Though he didn’t really know that, because he didn’t go around telling people he watched the notebook, which was just something he had made up, his own opinion on things. However, it was probably true right? I mean guys would only watch it if they were like him and wanted to please their girlfriend....well friend in his case, but whatever, he had agreed to watch it. He heard her call to him that she had finally found it and he called a sarcastic YAY! back to her and laughed. He didn’t mean to be like that but he had to do something like that to make him feel a little better, it was just his way of getting through it all.
He just stood there watching her go about being all happy. He laughed at her when she asked if he was going to go and sit down. He went over sitting next to her but leaving enough room. She told him he could share the blanket and he smiled, taking some of it Okay, start the movie then he sighed, as he got comfy on the couch. At least he was making his friend happy. That was what he kept thinking, reminding himself why he was doing it. [/style] TAG FAUNA; WORDS 495; NOTES I'M SORRY, THIS REALLY SUCKS; ♔ [/style]
