He has every right to be stressed out. The film project is worth half of his grade and if he fails it, then there goes his dream of becoming a film director someday. He’s been slacking off and pushing it away because he didn’t want to do it. Mainly it’s because the girl who took the role for his leading lady decided to quit the project due to family problems. He understands the decision that she made, but at the same time he felt little upset because she did it on the worst timing. He was planning on starting it yesterday but couldn’t because he’s down a cast member. The boy doesn’t know what to do now. It was little too late to start another audition for the leading role because people would be too busy trying to get ready for upcoming mid-final exams. So, he cannot do that. He could ask couple friends who would be interesting, but sadly they all withdraw the offer. Basically, the boy was screwed. Luckily for him, a kind friend of his said yes to the offer that he gave via instant messaging. He didn’t want to ask her but felt like he had no choice. Blake was out of options; he could either ask her about the movie or take an F for the class. So, he did the unthinkable and asked the girl who surprisingly said yes which made Blake happy that his movie was now back in business. Blake’s film was based on a romance movie about a spoiled rich boy who had everything he ever wanted in life, but yet still wasn’t happy. He grew up with five different nannies because his parents would be out working everyday from the morning till the night. Whenever he would want to spend time with his parents, they would make some excuse and say they don’t have the time. Then, there’s a low class girl who attended to the same school as him; always sharing bickering words toward one another whenever they see each other. She thought he was a spoiled rich kid who only thought about himself, but she quickly changed her mind about him when he showed her the real him. He slowly develops feelings for the girl as so did the girl, but couldn’t be in a relationship because it wouldn’t seem right. How can an upper class boy fall in love with a low class girl? In the end, they confess their love and live happily ever after. Pretty much the film is based on his life, but used bit of his imagination to make the storyline little bit more interesting. Blake doesn’t know why but he felt like Baja would be perfect for the leading role.
After spending an hour on the chat room and discussing about what the movie is based on, he signed off from the internet and closed his laptop. Scattering through the mess of school papers that he had laying around on top of his desk when he finally found the two scripts; one for him and the other for his dear friend. Once he got the papers, he walked out of his dorm room and made his way over toward the auditorium where he told her to meet him at. While walking over to the room, the boy couldn’t help but feel little nervous about the little practice session as there was bunch of ‘what if’ running through his mind. What if she was right? What if she can’t act? What if she isn’t the person that he’s looking for to star in the film? What if she was good? Rather than thinking about it, he shook it off as Blake made his way inside the auditorium. Pulling the door to open and looked around to see if she was there, but there’s was no sight of her. Blake walked over toward the front of the stage, placing the scripts on the floor and grabs a chair stool for him to sit on as he waited patiently for Baja to arrive.
