there's a fire starting in my heart
reaching a fever pitch and it's bringing me out the dark

Alexandria, also known as Ria, was just sitting at the end of one of the piers while her son, Jacob, sat just close to her, coloring in a coloring book, and her daughter, Lilian, slept in her lap. The sun was currently going down and Alexandria had been at the beach and piers since 7 AM seeing as her little kids were just oh so bored. Ria almost rolled her eyes but stopped herself. She used to roll her eyes a lot when she was younger and it was now something Ria was trying to not do at all, so far it had been working a bit. Ria was sitting at one of the patio styled tables just watching the sun set. Usually by this time she would be heading home to start dinner, or she would head home and pick something up. But seeing as her husband was working late she really didn't need to be home anytime soon, and Jacob wanted to stay a bit longer anyways. Ria shifted slightly in her seat and grabbed her black iPod cell phone off of the table and checked the time. It was getting late. But thankfully it wasn't getting cold yet seeing as Ria just had on a black tank top and a flowy black skirt on that reached just above her knees and her black flip flops. She lived in Florida after all, not like she really needed a fur coat or something. Besides even if it did get cold, she was used to it. After a little bit longer Jacob started complaining about getting bored, again. Ria didn't even bother to stop herself from rolling her eyes this time. They were at the beach, there was no reason to be bored. She just pulled out her actual iPod Touch, the one she used for music and games and such, and handed it to her son who grinned and sat at the table. After about a minute he was clearly immersed in whatever game he had found and Ria glanced back at the ocean. 334 WORDS , OPEN , FIRST POST! |
